“I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the staff and was very happy with having many of our old VHS tapes digitized by Everpresent.
I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.”
“I have a number of large format glass plate negatives that date from 1900-1910. I had difficulty finding anyone who was willing to take on the project to scan the plates. Everpresent accepted the job, provided high quality raw files, and carefully returned the negatives to me. An all around fine experience for their communications, customer service, and technical expertise. Thank you for saving the images.

“Everpresent does a very good job at digitizing old 16mm family films, especially given that most of them were 60 to 65 years old. No need to send the old films to LA or Chicago. Everpresent is close by. Their website is invaluable for sharing with friends and relatives.”
“I had a very pleasant overall experience with Everpresent from consultation to receiving the final product. I looked forward to bringing in my tape to Everpresent to convert but also I was excited to get to know the business as I work for the Newton-Needham Regional Chamber and the Newton location is a chamber member. At the same time, I was very nervous about sending in our tape to be converted to a digital file because it was my family's only childhood video of my sisters and I so I didn't want to risk losing it. The staff was friendly and the location was very welcoming and cute. The staff walked me through the options and the steps of the process in detail. They had confirmations and consistent communication throughout the process. The project was completed within the week that they mentioned and the quality came out great! Thank you all for helping us keep these special memories!”
“I had about 400 feet of 8mm film of the 1950/60 vintage digitized by Everpresent. I was pleased with the results and the price. I didn't expect them to enhance this old film as I thought that impossible. At times the film was of very poor quality as the person doing the filming was not adept to all situations. But I really enjoyed viewing Everpresent's work and consider the imperfections as part of my family history. As to price, they charged me less than the original quote as the footage was less than estimated. I was pleased with this experience with Everpresent.”
“Easy to deal with, and scrupulous about checking in on how to handle delicate or damaged photos. Reasonably priced. Newton location not the easiest place to find & parking limited although off hrs (not rush hr) never had trouble finding one space out of 3.”
“I worked with a very nice woman to put some tape onto a thumbdrive. It wasn't clear how much of the tape was any good. I was told that I wouldn't be charged for any tape that was unclear but there was quite a bit that wasn't, that was included in the thumbdrive. I wouldv'e preferred not to have minutes of red video that couldn't be seen. that is why I'm giving an acceptable but not good rating.”
Lee, thank you for sharing this with us. When tapes are blank or completely unintelligible, we are one of the only companies I know of about that does not charge full price for those tapes. But in instances like this where much of the tape is good, but there are also many unavoidably damaged or red sections, we proceed with the digitizing so you can enjoy the good footage. Unfortunately, when we are charging under $30 per transfer to USB/DVD, we are not able to offer full editing and cleanup of the tape to weed out all mediocre footage. We offer the service for $80/hour, but we don't impose it on everyone as it would become expensive given that the average tape is over one hour long and the editor would have to watch most of the tape. All that said, if you have already taken the time to identify where you see footage you don't like, please feel free to call us about a small editing project to clean up the footage, which we may be able to do in less than an hour given your preparation, or to ask our advice for free editing software.
“Tia did a great job walking me through the process for converting my photos to digital. I visited in person. I found her very knowledgable and in a short time we were able to get the process going. Many thanks to her for her help! If there was a category called “Excellent” I would have used it.

“I had been holding onto 40 VCR tapes wondering what to do with them, toss them is what I decided. But I made one last ditch effort to convert to digital and found EverPresent. After a couple of test tapes, I brought in the whole batch. And finally got these memories preserved and readily viewable as DVDs and digital video files to play on my PC.
Everpresent did a great job, and converted everything so the results were professional and beautiful. After many years, my video 'project' is finally done!!”
“The team has made the many memories leftover from my parents manageable and much more easy to digest! We look forward to sharing with future generations.”
“The experts at Everpresent took care of my specialized needs professionally and quickly at a fair price. Big job or small - they know what they're doing! Many thanks...”
“The CD duplication was fine, but I was unpleasantly surprised that you splashed the name “everpresent” in large font across my CDs, while my name as the composer of all the songs was not even on the label. Made it look as if the songs were by Everpresent, rather than by me. Why you feel the need to grab advertising on my CDs is inexplicable and misleading as t authorship. I paid the costs for your work. I did not intend to provide you (frankly useless) advertising on my original material. Not cool at all!”
Doug, thank you for letting us know. This is Eric, the owner. We put our company information on the DVDs partly for advertising as you say, but primarily so people can find us for when they need extra copies or damage a copy and forget where the original work was done. This is important since a significant percentage of our discs are used as gifts for family and friends for digitized home videos. That said, we do offer custom, unbranded CD labels, and in a case with original music, I wish we had offered you the unbranded labeling initially. I'm going to shoot you a note separately. We're happy to remake the discs for you free of charge.
“I have given two projects to Ever-present in recent weeks. Both were completed carefully and professionally. One was particularly sensitive and the outcome quite successful. Using Ever-present has made me rethink how I want to preserve my family's photos, recordings, documents and letters. More to come from me!”
