“We enjoyed our visit and found the atmosphere comfortable and relaxing. Our only negative comment is that you could pay more attention to those many people who need to be gluten-free. Your staff were very helpful, but, for example, you should really not have pasta in BOTH the hot dishes!”

“The selection of food was good and the staff were polite, professional and friendly. We didn't need to use the showers, but they looked clean and good quality. It completely took the stress out of travelling and quickly ate up the three hours we need to burn before our flight!”

“Food was very poor - dried up pasta dishes. Soup looked awful. The salad looked like it had seen better days. Not worth the money at all - not a spot on East Midlands lounge. The sparkling water was not nice. There was no atmosphere in there at all - some music wouldn’t have gone a miss. On a positive the lemon cake and crisps were nice. Limited drinks - no ales/bitters just lager and Guinness. Wouldn’t pay for it again.”

“I have stayed in an aspire Lou ge before at Heathrow and it was much more luxurious. Maybe it was a different terminal but on this occasion not so good. No toilet paper in one toilet, in another no light and also they were just boring public toilets, previously the toilet was beautiful, black tiled. I purchased 4 lounge tickets as a surprise for our party and I was so disappointed. It was busy as I think there was a special offer so we sat on hard benches. The food was also not very interesting and very disappointing. I don’t drink alcohol so I don’t know about that. It would be better to charge more and have a more comfortable lounge, more luxury, fewer people. Better quality food. I wouldn’t call this an executive lounge, call it a private lounge.”

“Very good when we came through Monday 28march . Food good , clean and value for money . Only comment with bacon and sausages only veg were beans . I suggested to staff at the time tomatoes and mushrooms would be welcome .”

“Wonderful helpful staff. We had wheelchair assistance and as the helpers were very busy a lady from reception helped us to the assistance corner as we were worried that time for departure was running out. Very impressed”

“Warm welcome at reception and friendly bar service. Comfortable surroundings though temperature a bit cool. Food ok, hot dishes not great. Selection of snacks and light bites was fine. Still much more preferable than the departure lounge. Feel it is still value for money and much more peaceful pre flight.”
