The lounge that was booked was not where it said it was, it was in another terminal 35 minutes from departures. The attitude of the staff was nothing short of rude, I paid for the business lounge and by a bit of luck managed to get in the normal lounge. No thanks to Executive lounges, and NOT what I paid for. There was 2 down sides to our break, one was the awful flight on Emirates, which was a total surprise. The second was the lounges at both Heathrow and Dubai. Tried to call Executi e lounges but you were closed, so no help there.

The lounge was very nice and comfortable but I wasn’t impressed with the food scrambled eggs bacon and cold beans and very tiny muffins plus drinks I thought £32 was rather expensive I would have faired better in one of the restaurants have got change

The choice of cold food was very disappointing and very limited: Crisps, crackers and cheese and some dry salad. Oh and scones and clotted cream - how bizarre! Won't be visiting again.

After looking at the menu online before flying we decided to make a reservation at the Aspire thinking it was good value for money and a relaxing start to the holiday. Once we were seated we were told to scan the QR code. We then called the assistant over and explained that only four choices had come up on the phone. We were told that although the full menu is online, not all dishes are available each day. There were two soups available and two mains. I am vegan and after asking if one of the mains was vegan was assured it was. The portions were extremely small and we had to order two to satisfy our hunger. We do not think it was value for money and the only good thing about it was we were not near too many people in this time of covid. If we fly from terminal 5 again we will not waste our money at the Aspire and will have a meal in one of the outlets in the airport.

Having visited many airport lounges, I must say this was a very poor experience at Heathrow Terminal 5. When paying to be in a relaxing lounge before a flight, you expect a certain standard and unfortunately this didn’t meet it. It felt incredibly cramped and the music was blaring out giving a chaotic feel. The staff weren’t very welcoming and the bartender didn’t seem happy to be there at all- when I asked for a drink I felt like I was being an inconvenience to her, which isn’t a nice feeling for what should be a lovely relaxing experience. It was a real shame.

Sloppy. No one seemed to be in charge. Reception was a muddle with attention being given to passengers arriving on spec rather than to those with a booking. No information was offered about the kind of food and services available. Toilets were outside the Lounge about 50 metres away. The Q Code food ordering system didn't work. The self-service food area was a congregation point for waitresses, where they stood over the open food display, discussing and handling it. Seating was not lounge quality. The food itself was reasonable but unimaginative.

Opening time changed so that we could only enter at 6. There was no way we could stay past 6.30 without missing our flight so personally I don't think the partial refund was sufficient. I know it's stated that prosecco is extra but I think that's disappointing for certain customers.

Extremely poor choice of food and drink. Couldn’t even get a basic gin and tonics - only pink gin

Lounge was good and nice atmosphere. Draught beer was really poor quality. Would have moved to bottles but they were warm too. Disappointing.

Pretty poor for breakfast. Only allowed 1 small sausage or bacon bap. And the full english now only consists of 3 items of which we got no choice.

The most basic of lounges. Very poor selection of food. Basic comfort. Totally unimpressed and won’t be using again.

I was disappointed to see that the lounge was very crowded and it was difficult to find a place to sit. Particularly given the Covid situation, it was impossible to be spaced out. Customers were walking around the lounge with no mask and no staff were reinforcing safety measures. Indeed, some staff were wearing masks below their noses. The buffet was open and some customers were using their bare hands to take food, again with no intervention by staff. The floor was not clean, tables needed wiping, and all in all cleanliness was not good. We stayed in the lounge for an hour hoping it would improve but it didn’t, so we left. We’re due to travel again today and will be spending 5 hours waiting in Schipol for our next flight. We will not be using the Executive Lounge. The only reason I’m awarding two stars is because I was able to have a coffee before I left.

The food (breakfast rolls) was very poor. A dry roll with one sausage cut in half & another with one slice of bacon does not compare to previous lounges we have attended. There was no breakfast tea available - in fact, the only choice of tea was Earl Gray. There were no small dessert spoons to eat the yoghurt/granola offerings. Overall very disappointing & by far the worst lounge we have visited.

I have used the lounge at Newcastle in the past and I would have rated it then as ‘Very Good’. Unfortunately on the morning of 18th November we entered the lounge at approximately 6am and found it quite dirty. The floor was dirty and so we’re some of the tables. At this time there seemed to be very few staff apart from about 4 at the entrance who were not all needed. One man was trying to clean up but he simply had too much to do. There did not seem to be the same choice of food as I had seen previously. The bar area was open but I did not want alcohol at 6am. When we were leaving at about 7:30am there did seem to be a few more staff. We can only hope if we visit again that things will have improved.

Very limited food option for everyone, I am gluten free and the only thing that was available was gluten free bacon sandwich but due to it being past 11am I was told Breakfast had finished.

The Aspire lounge was not open at T2 Manchester on the 16th November 2021. As such, I had an email saying my booking was automatically transferred over and I should head to the "escape" lounge. (NB I had no idea it is a separate company, why would I?) Our 'booking' before our holiday was not recognized by the escape lounge and they were already at capacity. Our holiday balloon had well and truly been popped. Not a great start. I give 2 stars rather than 1 because since this issue, SAS have been in touch (once I complained) and has offered me 50% off 2 lounge visits in the next 12 months as way of compensation, initially all I recieved was a standard apology which I thought was poor, and a promise they would sort this out so no one else ends up as disappointed as we were. I will use the lounge again, but I will be incredulous in making sure everything is 100% sorted (and OPEN!) Why they are allowed to sell tickets to something not open yet is beyond me.

Overcrowded, nowhere left available to sit and food was low quality. For the price it was very disappointing. Left soon after arriving.

We didn’t really enjoy it. There wasn’t a great selection of food, nor drinks. And absolutely no atmosphere, definitely didn’t get us into the holiday mood. I wouldn’t book it again sadly

The hot food choice was very limited and the buffet consisted of a few pieces of cheese cracker biscuits and some green salad. Pretty awful fare.
