“All animals are safe and well packaged. However, I have made a few purchases now and every time there was an item missing, but the product was sent out the next day.”

“Great company to deal with, friendly and helpful. I do sometimes however feel distinctly short-changed when buying '500' or '1000' crickets. But they are pretty cheap, so I don't feel that hard-done-by. Thanks for doing a generally great job Exotic Pets.”

“I have bought a number of 'critters' from Exotic-Pets over the years, in the main tarantulas and tropical frogs together with axolotl eggs and more recently stick insects. I have yet to be disappointed by the service, the accuracy of the animal descriptions and the quality of the 'product' So why only 4 stars - Good and not the top rating? There is a listing format that runs throughout being the items are listed alphabetically by 'common name' rather than by the invariable scientific nomenclature. Common names are easy to remember but are inconsistent between supplier. Additionally and another cause for the 4* rating. I would prefer that tarantulas are additionally sub-divided into at least two size categories e.g. Spiderlings and Juvenile & larger. Both of the above 'bugs' [ pun intended ] are avoided by other suppliers.”

“Excellent quality live food, packaged well and reasonably priced. Only thing is postage, its a bit expensive and raises the entire price enough for it to not be viable to be my first choice for pet food, also would be nice to have the option to choose a delivery time if possible. Thanks though, great service otherwise!”

“Lovely friendly helpful staff and brilliant delivery service. We unfortunately only had our first stick insect survive two days. So the only thing I’d say is please enclose a car leaflet. goggling information is not as good as listening to first hand experts. Mr Sticky number two is now thriving well thanks to excellent advise.”

Hi Alison, care sheets are available on most of the animal product pages on our website, plus we are happy to give advice over the phone or by email. However, we will also be providing feeding cards with all animals starting in 2019. Thanks Chris

“Recently purchased a millipede from exotic pets and the process was very smooth, the millipede arrived in a couple of days happy and healthy. It's the biggest one I've seen before so I'm guessing fairly old although I didn't ask the age on purchase so my own fault.”

“Cockroaches fantastic and the worms. But black crickets I'm not happy some are already dead. And other bugs are crawling around this could cause disease This is not good at all!”

“Great customer service. Had a call to ensure delivery is as smooth as possible because I purchased live animals, Mourning Geckos. They arrived very well packaged. I also posted a video review unboxing them on YouTube to show how well packaged they were.”

“My dealings with buying live food and habitat accessories have been very successful. The staff in customer care are nice and the team is efficient. One thing that I am weary of is that the site offers buying animals without pictures of the specific individuals. There are statements on whether they are CB or WC and age etc. However the images are always stock and I am not aware of the communication levels as to what the background details are of each individual. These conditions discourage my potential buying of animals via your site and also recommendation to others to use your site. Despite this I am very happy with all of the stock I have received thus far, and will continue to purchase live food and habitat accessories.”
