“Items arrived in perfect condition... however they are NOT very sturdy , and will have to be reinforced with wooden dowels or metal straps, as we are converting them into Bahamas style window awnings.”

“Shutters have not been put up yet but from what we seen removing them from box, they seem to be nice shutters. One does have a scuff mark on but I am hoping it will clean off once we have them installed.”

“I had tried to order shutters from other companies since March 2020. Everything was on back order. I finally found Exterior Solutions and they had perfect shutters to me in less than two weeks. They are perfect. The color was an exact match and they had many styles to choose from. Installation was simple and my house looks 100x better.”

“The custom arched shutters were made exact. One shutter was damaged from mfg. or shipment. A replacement was mfg. and shipped in record time and allowed me to finish the job. Would purchase again because of the customer service and value.”

“We have used Exterior Solutions in the past and have been pleased with the shutters that we ordered. The previous shutters were unfinished (not primed) and were very smooth. Paint went on them like a dream and still looked good 8 years later. We are building a new home and once again went to Exterior Solutions for our shutter needs. We ordered 16 pairs in the same type shutters. The only difference was that we paid extra to have a primer coat added thinking that would help avoid steps in the painting process. Quite the opposite! We were disappointed that the shutters arrived very rough both to feel and sight. We had to sand them before putting two final coats on the shutters. We could not sand them too much for fear of the primer coat coming off, so they are still slightly rough looking. We should have saved money and not had the shutters primed by ES. One other problem that we had was that two pairs of shutters were not made to specifications. Exterior Solutions was great about trying to work with us, however. In the end, we received a refund of half off those two pairs because receiving the correct order was going to take over a month and we needed to get the shutters painted and hung to finish the house. Overall, because of past experiences, I would still recommend Exterior Solutions. It seems that many places are using COVID-19 as an excuse for poor workmanship. I have not heard that excuse from ES, other than why the shutters took so long to make and ship out, but that's what I am assuming is the reason for the roughness of out shutters.”

“Ordered custom shutters from Exterior Solutions. Jill was my Customer Service rep. She was so helpful! Sent me a color sample so I could order paint for front door. Colors matched perfectly. She also helped out when my order was delayed. I did receive it a few weeks sooner than expected. Great product. Great Customer Service!”
