“i did this already but here goes again: you do not offer any other fasteners but 3 inch size. my cheap old siding requires 1 and 1/2 up to 2 and 1/2 due to siding over wood frame. Cant use 3 inch lest i snip off a 1/4 inch tip, but of course wont secureto woodframe”

“DEFINITELY WILL NOT CONSIDER EXTERIOR SOLUTIONS AGAIN. The product - 4 ea. louvered wood shutters, primed - appear to be in satisfactory condition. That's all that was acceptable. SERVICE WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING. Order placed 8/2 with stated expected late ship date of 9/6. ABSOLUTELY NO UPDATE COMMUNICATION from Exterior Solutions, even one week after late ship date. I called on 9/13 and learned only then that expected ship date would be 9/17. I had hard travel dates 9/19-9/26 based on expecting to receive product no later than 9/18 - 12 days after given late ship date.. EXTERIOR SOLUTIONS REFUSED TO COOPERATE/ASSIST RESCHEDULING SHIP/DELIVERY - either expediting to deliver by 9/18 or hold for shipment to deliver on/after 9/27. Shutters were left in my driveway, exposed for days to weather and potential theft. Corrugated box on pallet was rain soaked when I arrived home 9/27 night. Unpacked, shutters appear to be ok. Again: VERY POOR SERVICE, NO FOLLOW-UP COMMUNICATION ON LATE ORDER, NO COOPERATION TO CHANGE SHIP/DELIVERY DATES FOR THEIR LATE PRODUCTION. I will be surprised if manufacturer/vendor gives potential customers an opportunity to read this review or the facts herein.”

“Did not give detailed measurements and rails turned out to be much wider than my existing shutters. Picture appeared similar to mine. Since the were the custom line I am stuck with them”

“I was not thrilled with how the molding seems to have an "overlap" of the vinyl on the inside of the colonial box. For the money I would have expected a more seamless mold.”

“Very cheap, flimsy product. Not well constructed. Had to buy something else of better quality. Will probably throw these away.”

“The sample, though packed in heavy cardboard, had 2 slightly mashed corners. The composite itself absorbed WAY too much water, convincing me that my Maine coastal climate would demand painting every couple of years. The material weight is heavy, suggesting that hanging the shutters would be a two-person job. I will not be buying these shutters.”

“Easy to order, early delivery. But disappointed in the painted shutters. The slats slide back and forth and when they do, the unpainted part of the slat shows. We will have to address every single slat to keep them from showing the unpainted sections once on the home. Very disappointing for the price paid.”

“I Odered 1 shutter my installer advised was not properly checked before shipping as some openings in the seams , I contact your customer service was closed due to MLK holiday. I install shutter as install advised would be a charge appointment cancellation and had his tools setup. I called you custom service advised if the circumstances and requested a partial refund as imperfections not that noticeable . They told me to take shutter down and return it at my expense, would refund my money, I was insulted by their behavior and reply to keep the money and not recommend your company, I never experienced this type of customer service Regards Philip Saviano”

“I have responded twice already with no response back. Since I hade the issue with my shutters I did ask for some type of partial refund since I had to fix the shutter myself. I no longer expect customer service from companies. Everyone has an entire list of reasons why things are not right rather than trying to fix things or trying to make things right.”

“Both sets of shutters came short of ordered size. They also came on top of each other wrapped on a pallet and the delivery service left the 80lb pallet!”

“3 of the 4 shutters arrived in pieces..I had to use epoxy to glue them together myself. Not at all like the ones I got last year from the same company”
