PLEASE STAY AWAY!!! So like EVERYONE ELSE they took my money and will not answer my calls or emails. I have filed complaints with BBB, Attorney General Office in both Massachusetts and Minnesota, Federal Trade Commission as well as my Bank. I understand with COVID thing are difficult, but taking peoples money and Ignoring them is disgusting. I hope 🤞🤞🤞that people read these reviews and buy elsewhere to save themselves a HUGE HEADACHE!!

I called the Browns Valley sheriffs department today to start to report to get my money back. You can also contact the Minnesota attorney general if you are going thru the same thing that we have with this company taking our money then having 4 false expected delivery dates and still don’t have a pool. We’ve had zero communication or responses to hundreds of emails, messages and calls. Only time they message is to push it back our delivery even longer. We called them in May to make sure they had the pool we wanted. They owner assured us that they did have it in stock. We paid for it in full and then suddenly the pool just disappeared!! They can’t ever answer the phone let alone an email. Taking thousands of dollars and then disappearing is not ok!! They are also deleting posts off their Facebook page So everyone that complains gets deleted and then blocked. Will update

Do not order from this company, they will rip you off! I order a pool in April and was told it would take until end of June to get it. Here it is, end of July with no pool, no refund, and no contact from the company despite several calls, emails and texts. They were very kind and helpful when I ordered, but have now stolen my money and from other reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one.

TOOK ALSO A MONTH TO RECEIVE ITEM, PARTS MISSING, PAID EXTRA FOR STAINLESS , WHEN RECEIVED THEY WERE SCRATCHED-UP , TRIED TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE BY PHONE & EMAIL, TOOK THEM ANOTHER WEEK TO REPLY

I have ordered a pool and several items from them and never had an issue until now. Just need a replacement liner which is 1 year old and has a 15 yr warranty and I have not heard from them in almost a week. They said to call the manufacturer which I did and was told that it has to go through Jay and his company. I messaged them back and nothing, no reply, no we are working on it, nothing! Very disappointed as they have been great before this.

Have sent several emails and called several times and left messages (no answer of course) AND STILL NOTHING!!! C’mon people, get it together! You have several businesses under the same owner and I don’t understand how. Your customer service is a joke! I get it, times are tough right now but you’ve had months to adjust to the new standards! 🤦🏼‍♀️ As of July 21 our pool pump blows sand in the pool no matter what we do. Bought another 200lbs of sand thinking that was the issue and it wasn’t. I have tried contacting familypoolfun for advice and they dont return my calls. Am now in the process of filing complaint through the Better Business Bureau. Oh and when you call and get their voicemail, the owner says God Bless. What type of Godly being treats people with such deceit?!? ***Take my advice as well as many others, spend your hard earned money elsewhere!!!***

Worst company ever. We ordered a poll on May 20th I still have not received a pool and it is July 12th. The only time you speak to a human is when they want to run your credit card or take your money and that will be the last time you speak to anybody on the phone. This company quotes Bible verses and says God-bless at the end of everything. This is the most unchristian like company I have ever dealt with. Thou shall not steal and thou shall not lie maybe they need to live by their Christian beliefs. Summer is halfway over and I'm having to cancel my pool and look for a different one thanks to Jay and his terrible company. I am disputing the change with the credit card company as fraud because that is what Family Fun Pools are a Fraud!

Nothing until they got my money. Even though the website says they are open, I do not believe it. I will be filing fraud with my credit card company and suggest others do the same. I will also file a complaint with the better business bureau in the area. No return calls and no return emails. If everyone with this experience will band together we might get something done

Worst company I've ever seen they never came through on any of their promises low quality product they still owe me money and the manager person made very inappropriate comment at my 14 year old daughter...SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

Worse customer service ever I am owed money for pool cove never received can’t get ahold of them on phone after you order they have hoops to jump through so u can’t receive your refunds hoping you will just forget about it and stop pursuing them wrong person I will keep after them till I get my refund it’s more principal than the money stay away please

STAY AWAY. By far the worst company I've had to deal with in a long, long time. Yes, everyone's experiencing covid issues this year. But this goes well beyond that. There is no customer help at all...customer service number goes straight to voicemail. They take on too much and then can't help anyone. They send out random emails that contradict each other and then when you email back or call and leave voicemails, no one gets back to you. My order was moved a month, twice, then cancelled. I called and called and emailed and emailed and no one bothered getting back to me throughout the entire process aside from a generic email here and there saying "check your latest email" or "thanks and be patient"...nothing whatsoever that answered any of my actual questions. I've since had to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back and also have reported the company to the Better Business Bureau.

Family Pool Fun and Jay Backer are a complete scam, I purchased a pool on May 5th or 6th and just received an email on 7/5/2020 saying that my order was cancelled followed by another email 2 hours later saying that it was expected to ship between 7/14/2020 and 7/24/2020. I was confused at this point so on Monday I finally reached someone by facebook messenger and was told at that time that it was cancelled due to damage. Now I have had nothing but trouble getting responses from this company for the entire 2 months of dealing with them and the only time that I get a quick response if facebook messenger. Do Not Buy From This Company

Not only was the pool of very poor quality and didn't match the description they didn't even send all the parts. I had paid someone to install the pool and had to continue with the installation but also had to go to the pool store to buy parts that they were supposed to have shipped. Their customer service is not only bad but dishonest and frustrating. I did everything they asked of me and in the end they just stopped returning my emails and answering the phone. Do not trust this company!

I purchased a pool over a month ago. The one and only time you will hear from them is two days after they take your money. They refuse to answer the phone or respond to emails. Jay is a liar who only sales items he doesn't have in inventory. My pool is on back order and if you go on the website, even a month later, the pool says "in stock" and 2 week delivery. Don't be fooled by Jay. Please for own sanity and health shop elsewhere.

DONT DO IT. Its a nightmare. They will tell you "about two weeks" and it will take MONTHS to get what you ordered. They never answer your calls or emails. They will give you the run around. The directions are HORRIBLE. I have spent so much time and cried so many tears over this experience. FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY. DO NOT buy from them.

I wish I had done online research about this company. There are so many negative reviews. Just google familyPoolFun to find out. They are not a member of Better Business Bureau. There are a five stars reviews I have no doubt were written by the company people. They should be prosecuted for fraud and theft. They sent out a wrong pool cover and charged me a second one without refunding me the first one. They said they would send me a shipping label that never came.

Poor 3% Warning! Stay the hell away from these guys. Before I ordered a pool pump on Friday, Nov. 29, I called to make sure that it was in stock, and I hoped that it could be shipped that day. I was ok with the promised Monday shipping. I was shocked and bewildered when I got a call late Tuesday afternoon wanting to verify my address, which was exactly as ordered. If that really was an issue, I should have been called Monday before the promised shipping. I was concerned about their stalling tactics, and called them Wednesday morning, and again Wednesday afternoon, wanting to know when and if it would ever be shipped. Members of staff told that only Jay could answer that question, and that he'd call me. Of course, he never did, and I cancelled the order that night. After waiting four more days trying to get my $475 refund, I finally had to get it through my credit card company. Next time I order from an unfamiliar company, I'm reading the bad reviews. I would have seen all the complaints to the Better Business Bureau, Ripoff Reports and Trustpilot. I would have known that their "address verification call" is commonly used for stalling. I'm surprised that Jay can get his employees to buy into his crookedness. Jay has proven once again that "one bad apple can spoil the whole barrel."
