We sent this order as a gift and we’re sorely disappointed. The wagyu NY strips were filled with gristle and dry according to our mother. They have not tried the rest yet.

Their customer service was horrible. I placed my first (and only) order with them and the first delivery attempt didn’t go well because FedEx lost my package. 2nd attempt at delivery failed again because FedEx claimed to have delivered my package on Saturday, but actually delivered it to the wrong address one flight up. When I contacted Farmfoods customer service to inquire I was told it was delivered and to contact FedEx (thanks). FedEx explained if I didn’t receive my package within 3 days to contact the shipper (Farmfoods). Needless to say I won’t be doing business again with Farmfoods or FedEx.

Recently, I’ve really been put off of FarmFoods. The other day I bought apples and when I went to go and eat one, they were squishy and mouldy. The thing that shocked me most was that this was the same day I bought them. If the apples are off, what else is? All I know is that I am definitely not shopping there until they fix this problem!!

Please people, save your money, money is too hard to come by these days. Farmfoods in the US is legally stealing our money. I said OUR because I am included. I spent over $300 for trash, I ordered the pork shoulder and it was more fat and bone than meat, the so called filet mignon was hard as rock(not filet mignon in my opinion) and the so called ribeye was not ribeye, hard too, not to mention the pounds and ounces they clearly stated that it was 'between that and that,'completely false, when weighed my kitchen, it was way less. Do not be duped by these people, do not buy!!!

I shop regularly in the Yeovil store. The staff are always very helpful. The butter is great value at 99p. The sunblest bread is only 39p. I used to buy 3 packs of Whiskas cat food pouches for £22 but cannot get any at the moment as they cannot get any. I still go to Farmfoods to stock up on my other things though. Their prices are so much lower, and the staff are always very helpful too.

Meat was terrible! Ribeye looked more like a new york strip. All steaks were not vaccum sealed and all had some freezer burn. I complained and was only told that I could receive a discount on my next order. I ended up throwing all the meat in the trash. Do not throw your money away with Farm Foods.

I can't believe I was taken!!! what a fool I trusted their meat would be quality but nope I was doped!!! chicken wings were so skinny barely any meat! pork chop was dry! and beef stew meat does not look appealing, when I contacted them they were no help at all...they did not care at all that I was not happy!!! I'll stick to Costco or my local venders!!!

Can I clarify that many of the reviews on this website for "farmfoods" seems to refer to a company that uses the dollar as currency and lbs for measurements. UK Farm Foods is a Scottish-based small supermarket-chain that uses £ and kg. UK Farm Foods mostly offer freshly frozen great-value food. Please don't confuse the negative reviews here for the UK Farm Foods stores!

1/4 inch thick "Wagu" steaks. Tasted like liver. 3 for $126. Disgusting. Not Wagu. From New Zealand. That's probably why it tasted terrible.

Bought a 1/4 of a cow and a 1/4 of a pig plus 40 lb of chicken that was supposed to include whole chicken, legs and breasts. What I received was garbage cut meats that were not as advertised and cannot even be eaten. We spent over $2k. This is what you call bad business and highway robbery. Do not buy from them...

Hi. Stenhousemuir Scotland shop. A pleasure to deal with. Sarah the manager and all her staff are excellent. Cleanest shop you could find. Merry Xmas to these great people.

I bought the beef and chicken broth from farm foods. It conveniently takes a photograph online of the package excluding the fluid ounces. So I thought I will give it a try anyway. The package states that there is 16 fluid ounces. This is completely false. There is 8 ounces in a package when it is printed right on the package that there are 16 ounces. Plus it’s $14 plus shipping for one cup of bone broth! Wrap your brain around that one. Classic bait and switch.Do they think we’re stupid? I’m filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I received an unsolicited advertisement email from FarmFoods for a grass-fed beef sampler pack promotion. The promotion was for 7-10 pounds of selected cuts of beef for $99. I was not able to select the cuts of beef: they were to be selected by FarmFoods, and were described by FarmFoods as: “In this sampler pack you will find less common beef cuts that you may not have experienced before. The total pack is 7-10 pounds and contains at least 6 different cuts from the ones listed below: Top Sirloin Steak, Sirloin Bavette Steak/Roast, Sirloin Tip Steak/Roast, Sirloin Tri Tip Steak/Roast, Brisket, Chuck Eye Steak/Roast, Cross Rib Steak/Roast, Flank Steak, Flat Iron Steak, Coulotte steak, Lifter meat, London Broil, Skirt Steak, Eye of Round, Short Ribs, Osso Bucco, New York Steak, Rib Eye Steak, Shoulder Clod, Teres Major, Underblade Steak/Roast, or Wagyu Ground” I thought, “Great, lots of steak options, including lesser-known, expensive cuts, such as bavette, coulotte, and flat iron; maybe I’ll get lucky and one or two of those will be selected.” Instead, I received a 6+ oz. piece of skirt steak, a 10+ oz. piece of chuck roll, a 7+ oz. piece of top sirloin, a 1-pound cube of wagyu ground, a 10+ oz. piece of eye of round, and a 3.5-pound piece of shoulder clod. All told, this amounted to 6 pounds, 14 ounces of meat, and that is including the six separate pieces of vacuum packaging. None of these pieces are particularly expensive cuts of meat (except the wagyu, if that is what it truly is), and the shoulder clod (over half of the total weight) is one of the cheaper cuts on the animal. Plus, the vacuum packaging for the wagyu ground was open, resulting in the meat to be freezer-burned from the dry ice used during shipping. I did utilize a 10% coupon for first time orders, so I received 6.875 pounds of rather ordinary cuts of beef for $89, or $12.95 per pound. I have purchased grass fed/grass finished beef online, as well as heritage pork online, so I am at least somewhat familiar with what to expect for cost and quality when ordering from higher end meat sources. Based on what I paid for the items that I received, I don’t feel that I received value for my money. I do not recommend buying from FarmFoods. The day after I received my order, I received a new email from FarmFoods advertising another sale. I instantly unsubscribed from their mailing list.

Ordered for a Christmas gift and was shorted 1 ribeye and almost 2 pounds of beef. The quality of the other 3 were brown in color not red. They do not have a phone number and you can only communicate by chat or email. I explained that we were short and that the quality of the steaks were not satisfactory and they asked that we send pictures. I sent the pictures and didn’t hear back. I had to chat and email numerous times and kept getting the run around. Finally I told them I would contact my bank to reverse the charge if I didn’t hear from someone by the end of the day. All of a sudden I get a email for store credit not a replacement or refund to my credit card. This was a Christmas gift and I don’t want to deal with this company again. Terrible customer service and terrible quality.

If you want to pay more than $16/lb for very ordinary ground beef, bacon, and chicken, order from FarmFoods. I really felt ripped off and will never buy from this vendor again. You can do much better almost anywhere. They claim this is high quality stuff but I compared it to $5/lb meat and found the FarmFoods no better and in most cases far inferior.

I purchased the More than 10 pounds of grass-fed boneless Ribey and/or New York steak deal. Extremely disappointed when the meat arrived! Only one piece of meat was properly vacuum sealed. All the rest of the packages had air in them and the meat was freezer burned. Four of the packages were actually torn open and the meat was exposed. This makes you wonder what contaminants the meat could have possibly been exposed to. Upon contacting customer service they referred me to an article from USDA stating that as long as the meat was frozen it was safe to eat. They said the plastic packaging tore open during shipment and that it was safe. I'm sorry but plastc does not mysteriously just tear open. Who knows when or how these packages got torn open and what the meat touched in the process. I am not feeding poorly packaged meat that is shipped from who knows where to my family. I offered to have the meat shipped back if the company would provided me a shipping label which they refused. I demanded a full refund and they kept telling me that the case is under review. What is there to review? I sent pictures of the torn packages as they arrived. There is no way to contact this company by phone. Everything is handled via web chat and email. Shameful way to do business and shameful way to stand behind your product. Do not waste your money on this company!!

Please do not purchase anything from Farm foods. The quality and cuts of meats are the worst ever. While customer service seems to want to help you will be disappointed in the long run. Save yourself the trouble and purchase your meat from someone else.

Do not buy anything from this company. Farmfoods does not sell quality meats if my order was any indication. I ordered 1/16 of a cow and received maybe the 25lbs of meat but all I have tried so far has been very tough, most is high in fat. Even the ground meat is no good. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Its the worst.
