“I think people came here to write reviews usually because they had problems. I searched here when I didn't get my 2nd shipment after more than 3 weeks. Then I received the packages. I bought 80 pounds of bones at a very good price. I made bone broth right after that, and the broth was delicious. There was quite some meat attached to the bones, so I got a plate of stewed beef in addition to the bone broth. There are also 2 bags of ribs - very happy about the purchase. I would like to give the review 4 stars because a few bags were broken by the bones. But since there are so many 1-star reviews, and I am very satisfied with the purchase, I give it 5 stars to balance out the reviews a little bit.”

Received a notice that they refunded my credit card $13.99, I asked why and they said it was a refund for the filet mignon. That's the whole reason I purchased it. If they would have contacted me and let me know before shipping I would have cancelled the order, probably why they didn't. $2/filet? Awful company.”

“Horrible experience. I was excited to order from this company. I received 1/2 of my order, and shipping was delayed by 4 days even though I paid for expedited shipping (2 days). I reached out to them 4 times and never received a response. Also, I never received my grass fed beef steaks I ordered. What a horrible customer experience. Buyer beware. They promote themselves as a caring company. My experience was no human interaction and the do as they please.”
“my order arrived about 3 weeks long and there was no dry ice left in the package by the time it arrived. Inside the box, there was blood stains everywhere. Sharon at customer support was helpful but the replacement package, which was supposedly sent out as expedited took another 2 weeks to arrive with missing item in it! haven't had a chance to try the quality of their meat yet, but i would never order from this company again. Their packaging looks terrible and some are missing expiration dates. Do Not order from this company!”
“Wish I had read the reviews! I was supposed to get a half pig but got a mishmash of pork. I didn't get a lot of what was described: no pork chops, sausage, hocks etc. All the bacon was ends and pieces. I got a ton of ground pork and pork steaks. I will be trying them tonight. I am just hoping they aren't tough. I will never order from these people again!”
“Ordered half a cow for $1800 shipped. Comes in 4 deliveries of roughly 50 pounds each. Shipping was adequate, took about 2 weeks for first box to ship and one every two weeks after that. Meat tastes good, maybe a little too much fat on some cuts, but steaks are thick and tender. Now for the bad. When you pay for half a cow you expect some quality cuts of meat. I got 0 Porterhouse/ T-bone steaks, only a couple filets, about 10 NY straps and the rest was flank steaks roasts and ground beef. What they do is take the best steaks from the half of cow you already paid for and resell them to customers just ordering specific cuts. So they're making a killing off the same cow. When you pay for half a cow you expect all the meat from that half. I won't be ordering from here again.”

“I'm a catering company that ordered 2 weeks ago for a dinner tomorrow evening. It's a wine tasting and farm food dinner. My order still hasn't shipped. It's basically a 1 day shipping from their company to Napa Valley. Here's the real thing they will be missing out for being unreliable. Most companies want to be in Napa Valley, there's alot of money here to be had. I will get from another company that will benefit from being in Napa Valley. There was no text, email or call to inform about the shipment. I won't make this mistake again and another farm company will be happy to have their name associated with Napa. Don't order if you have expectations of delivery they are unreliable!!”

“I received an order about 2 weeks ago, I wish I saw these review. The meat is indeed tougher than expected. I order bison, they shipped and labeled the package as buffalo. These are 2 different animal as far as the quality of meat is concerned. When I reached out to customer service they sent to wikipedia page (which I already saw) which says that bison/buffalo are the same. Beware, these think we idiot regarding the quality of food. Unfortunately, I am now stuck with 1/4 cow and a bunch a fat/oiled buffalo.

“First time I ordered a whole beef tenderloin and it was pretty good so I ordered again. I ordered another filet and 10 ribeyes. The filet was just a big blob of? Who knows what. It was certainly not a real filet. It was so tough we couldn't hardly chew it. The Ribeyes were beautiful BUT, they were so tough and chewy we fed them to the dogs!! When I messaged them they responded by saying that we didn't know how to cook them. It made me so mad that I didn't even respond. I just knew that I was going to make a review and let other people know how this company is!!
I'm 68 years old! I know how to cook but, my son in law is a chef and he's the one that cooked all of these steaks. He eats his Rare and my daughter and I eat ours medium Rare.
I wish I had looked at the reviews before I ordered from them. I will never get anything from this place again!!
