“I am writing to express my absolute outrage and profound disappointment regarding my recent experience with Fashion Eyewear. I feel it is my responsibility to bring the truth about this business to light, as the level of service I have received is nothing short of predatory. I placed an order months ago, and despite my funds being taken immediately, I have yet to receive my eyewear. This website is essentially scamming customers out of their hard-earned money by failing to fulfill orders or provide any transparency regarding delivery timelines. To make matters worse, after waiting for months, I discovered that the lens prescription was completely incorrect, rendering the product useless.
I have exhausted every possible avenue to resolve this, including multiple "back and forth" exchanges with representatives named Tamara and Lauren, neither of whom offered any actual help. They were dismissive and showed a complete lack of concern for the fact that my order is months overdue. It is clear that this company does not value its customers, as they frequently ignore emails for weeks and offer no accountability for their failures.”
“Awful
Glasses wrong. Don't work
Nightmare to get hold of
Raised refund bank as just not interested
Tried to raise a complaint but ignored me
Stay clear”
“I paid $300 Australian for a pair of Prada sunglasses to be sent to Australia.
I received a message saying that the glasses are in Sydney and my postal address is invalid. You can google my house and it comes up. Still haven’t heard back from them. Scam”
“The application asks me to be honest, helpful and constructive so let's start at the beginning. I placed an order more than a month ago on the website of this store, the crystals took a little longer than indicated at the time you place the order. I didn't even make some transition lenses because they took longer than what I didn't want and I turned out to wait longer than when you add transition. They made the shipment and I don't know what mistake was made in the packaging so that the pair of glasses never left customs here in the United States, with days of delay I contact them and their response was automatic that they could not do anything to call USPS, I proceed to call USPS and they tell me that the package does not depend on them until it leaves customs but that the senders can call customs and see what is happening, I communicate this to them and they tell me that they are going to put In contact and they will give me an answer, when I enter the page again days later I see that it says that my problem was solved, I create another claim explaining everything from scratch, they remain in communicating with USPS and customs more days pass and no response, in that go and go I was practically the whole month of August, and at the end of the month they made me fill out a sheet that they should have given me from the first day where I made the "formal" claim and that it would take approximately 90 days to process. I have not yet received the pair of glasses and I have never received an email from them making me feel that they have some kind of interest in solving my inconvenience they only answer the same thing every time I write, it bothers me a lot their lack of empathy with their buyers because they tell me that they have problems communicating with USPS because of the time change when they have answered all my emails during working hours here in the United States, and as soon as I call USPS they answer my call. I am totally disappointed with this purchase, if my comment is helpful to you I feel satisfied for it and to close being constructive I tell you that I wish you had more interest in cases like mine than me understanding that it does not depend "totally" on you because I have no idea how you made the packaging of the product or how you filled the customs templates that that never came out of there, really focus on solving and not answering with automatic emails to all the questions that one asks because one is not a robot one is a person waiting for something For what he paid.”
“I ordered the Oliver Peoples Gregory Peck Sun with G-15 polarized lenses, but what arrived was far from what I expected. Instead of quality sunglasses, I received a pair of eyeglasses with flimsy plastic lenses, and the frame was visibly bent. Compared to another pair I own from Oliver Peoples, this one felt cheap and poorly constructed more like a factory reject that shouldn't have passed quality inspection. I returned the item and asked for a refund, but as expected, their response is taking several days.”
“It takes DAYS to hear from anybody, never mind the month and a half I have been waiting for my Rx sunglasses.
I am also 100% sure the designer glasses they sold me are fake. Preloved or not, markings on designer glasses do not just rub off.”
“I’m really happy with the frames and customer service. The glasses themselves are great, especially since I got them at a much lower price than other stores. I bought Prada frames for just under £300, and the same ones cost at least £400 elsewhere. However, there was a bit of a delay they were late twice, and it took about 5 weeks to get them. While the wait was frustrating, I’m still very satisfied with the end result. Vision Express is a good option for cheaper designer lenses, but just be prepared to wait.”
“I ordered a pair of Prada prescription glasses on February 19th before I had seen the negative reviews about them. Shortly after I was sent an email stating that the estimate time for my order to be dispatched wouldn’t be until April 17th. I wasn‘t too pleased waiting that long, so I canceled my order. I contacted a Fashion Eyewear representative through their website, and received a response a day later confirming the cancellation, and about a week later I received a full refund. So for me, I had no customer service problems as they got back to me fairly quick, I just wasn’t willing to wait that long for my order.”
“I placed an order for two pairs of glasses from Fashion Eyewear almost a month ago, after being promised that my order would be dispatched within a maximum of 10 working days. It’s been well beyond that timeframe, and I’m still waiting for my order to be shipped. During the time I placed my order, other websites had similar offers, and I regret not choosing them. I’m becoming increasingly concerned that this might be a scam, and I’m frustrated with the lack of communication. At this point, I just want either my glasses or a full refund. Extremely disappointed with this experience and would not recommend this company”
“Avoid Fashion Eyewear at all costs! They completely failed to make proper prescription glasses, leaving me with a pair that caused dizziness and were totally unwearable. It’s clear they don’t know how to make glasses correctly. To make matters worse, the quality of the products they sent seems fake and substandard.
When I raised the issue, they refused to take full responsibility and only offered a partial refund for the frames, forcing me to pay for useless lenses. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a scam.
Their customer service is just as bad—they don’t care about fixing their mistakes or ensuring their customers are satisfied. It’s clear they’re more interested in taking your money than delivering a quality product.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. There are plenty of other reputable eyewear retailers that actually stand behind their products and value their customers. Fashion Eyewear is nothing but a disappointment and a waste of money.”
“AWFUL, RUDE COMPANY (ORDER #162067)
AWFUL!
This company sold me glasses which I was unhappy with for many reasons, including how they looked a completely different colour within the image to how they arrived (image showed a glossy gold and I received matte rose gold).
The company just gaslit me, lied to me and refused to refund the entire purchase.
It’s been a long time I’m still awaiting my partial refund.
What’s the point in customer service when they ignore 80% of the queries in your email and treat you like garbage.
I’ll be making everyone I know aware of this awful company.
Imagine paying for designer glasses and being ripped off completely, and then also having to pay for tracked delivery to return them out of your own pocket. Every query I had, they told me they were sorry about it, but came up with a new lie to cover themselves and avoid being to blame.
Thanks to Lauren and Devona for treating me like a piece of garbage through email, and lying to me broadly. I have evidence of all of this and I will report this company over this awful communication.
It makes me sick that companies get away with this stuff now.
This genuinely caused me mental stress to deal with, which sounds ridiculous over a pair of glasses.
If you’re considering using this company, I’d just find the pair of glasses from another site (they’ll probably look completely different and show you the TRUTH). And they won’t be damaged upon postage. And hopefully the company you use will not treat you as badly as I was. FASHION EYEWEAR DO NOT CARE. Just another fast paced money making company with staff trained to do everything they can to keep money, even if it means to lie and be rude to the customer.
Just to warn FASHION EYEWEAR, if you reply to this review with more lies - I will post the truth with evidence, so don’t even try it.”
“My first time having an add power on my lenses. I filled the prescription for single vision with the add because I was told it’s just an anti fatigue (not a true bi focal?). Get the glasses with no add power. I emailed several times and they said it’s my fault because you can’t have add power in a single vision. But then why would they fill that prescription? And why have the option to add power on single vision in their ordering?
When I questioned them they said I didn’t read I’m the prescription right and it’s my fault. And I can pay to ship back and forth to replace the lenses. Terrible customer service attitude and we’re not accommodating at all.”
“Received faulty glasses and lens were of a poor quality. On top of that, customer service were awful! So hard to get hold of (the phone rings out or they pick up and hang up on you soon after). Still waiting for my refund.”
