“My daughter first session with Neil was last Sunday. We are very pleased with his approach to Maths. She was comfortable and he seems passionate about the subject. I would completely recommend Neil.”

“The First Tutors system is almost impossible to use. They send emails which are 'smart' - you then have to open the link and click twice - very difficult to manage if you have contacted more than one tutor. Two of ours we had the same first name so we could not tell them apart on the system. We would advise that you contact one tutor at a time. I'm sure most of the tutors themselves are good, but the First tutors system stinks!”

“It charges too much for getting the contact details. First time I contacted a tutor and I was charged £25.00 and the tutor cancelled on me even without meeting after taking the first contact details fee and I was not even refunded that fee.”

Our fees help to cover the cost of completing identity and address checks, and obtaining two references for all our registered tutors, allowing you to choose with confidence. “First tutors provided my daughter with an amazing tutor. Details are exchanged quickly and detailed profiles mean you can choose a tutor to meet your childs’s needs. Professional, friendly and passionate about their subject. The experience has been a fantastic one and my daughter has soared in confidence from her first lesson.
