“He is patient and supportive, but really knows how to motivate his students. He is great at building confidence and keeping lessons fun and engaging through a variety of activities that improve conversation and writing. I highly recommended for students with Special Needs.”

“I think that Mr Chun Ho Chan has helped my son a lot, in Math. Through his lessons and his best teaching methodology, his Math has improved. He not only encouraged my son on every step but made his confident through his lessons. Overall he is a good teacher.”

“Ciara tutored me 4 weeks before my Maths Junior Cycle exam, and both my mom and I were very happy with how she explained the course and the patience, flexibility, and guidance she provided. Very pleased with Ciara's tutoring.”

“Not great experience, lesson was cancelled twice, 5min prior to start each time . Has to rearrange the whole weekend around it , so was chaotic. Tutor was unprepared about subject , made few mistakes and was asking me for for advise on some parts. Zoom was switching off in the middle of the lesson , took a while to get let back into the room , tutor was moving from one room to another during lesson , so more chaos. I felt it was very expensive for what I got in return, which was not a lot . Lesson finished right on time , no extra time given for all the inconvenience. Overall it was not handled professionally so I felt my money was wasted.”

“re Sally Draycott (Psychology A level; Tutored since May 2021) My daughter and I feel extremely lucky and grateful to have found Sally on First Tutors in May 2021. Sally is an excellent tutor with great interpersonal skills and a thorough knowledge of the A level psychology syllabus. As a qualified counsellor she has been able to support to my daughter during the exam period as an added bonus. Sally has also provided helpful additional learning resources to complement her teaching enabling her to increase her grades from E/U to achieving A* for her end of Year 12 exam and A level mocks. Fingers crossed for the A level result this August.”

“Ronald is an excellent teacher. He was welcoming on my first lesson and took a genuine interest in my interests in Jazz music and past experiences in playing music. He was open in assessing my playing abilities and enthusiastic about what I can learn next. I have already started practicing and I am looking forward to my next lesson. Definitely recommend him.”
