“Site, fairly easy to navigate, found what I was looking for, security on both sides is taken seriously. Off to first lesson today, communication has gone well.”

“The information on tutors is good making it easy to pick a few for communication and decision. However the website system to release contact details is odd, not intuitive. Needs more thought. Over all a good experience, would recommend.”

“The only thing that let you down was that the contact details you gave me for Laura were out of date by 2 years. When we turned up to the given address we were told she had moved two years ago. We were therefore late to our first tutoring session. Laura had said she had updated you so why had you not updated your system? Not happy.”

“This is an effective way to connect prospective learners with tutors through online. However, if more native English teachers are registered, it would be more beneficial for learners.”

“For a moderate fee, it was possible to choose a tutor for my daughter. The process allows for you to communicate with the tutor before having to pay a fee which is helpful in deciding if they are the right tutor. The only negative comment is that when communicating with the tutors to see availability of dates, First Tutors blocked out the dates from the correspondence because they thought the dates were part of a telephone number. This meant having to pay to release the tutor details before it could be established if the tutor was available on the required dates.”

“Although I found the website a bit confusing at first, ( as in, once the tutor was found I was not sure if to contact through the website or talk to the tutor direct) I found an excellent tutor for my daughter, who has given her great tuition during her A levels. Hopefully her results will prove that . I”

“Have found the site very helpful and there is a good selection of tutors to choose from. Having recently had an issue with a tutor not attending sessions, First Tutors very quickly responded to my concerns and I have now sorted out another tutor.”
