“This is a good site to use to find a tutor - however - several of the tutors listed on the site have little availability so you may to accept your second or third preference. I have used the site for 2 different tutors and have been pleased with the tutors I have found.”

Dear David, Thank you for your feedback which I will pass to our team. The intro fee is displayed on the home page and does not mention that a free lesson is included in this fee and I don't believe there is anywhere on our website that would suggest otherwise. Of course, if you feel this is not correct please do contact us with the link and wording of where you feel this is misleading. The intro fee helps cover the costs of ID checks, reference collection, qualification verification etc. Please do contact us if you encounter a problem with your tutor. “I have been very dissapointed that you have very unprofessional, qualified teachers advertised on your website (ref: Estella English ex-retired teacher ). She had all my requirements during our initial dialogue and agreed to take my son on for 7+ exam, we had our first lesson which went well and was due to have 2nd lesson tomorrow and only to receive a text from her saying my son is too young for her to teach and that her experience is with older kids!! She was fully aware of this before she took my son and then also assured me during the first lesson she will continue to work with him !! I am a single mum and have not only wasted my money paying First Tutors for her details but also £30 which I paid directly to her!! I would like a total refund please !!!!! I don’t trust this website anymore as the teachers are complete liars !!!!”

“I found the website difficult to use in terms of signing up/registering/payment. I also received repetitive regular emails from all the tutors I "contacted". I must have selected contact all as thought I had selected half a dozen who were local! I am not good with technology so possibly my own fault! However, good choice of tutors, with photos which I liked.”
