“Hila is very friendly and her approach to learning is positive and effective. We are learning as a family and Hila is as patient with my kids as she is with me. Great teacher, highly recommend.”

“Alex is very welcoming, very knowledgable and answers all questions. Finds out what music my son is into. He try's to work around the hours that we can do and we have already arranged the next lesson .”

“It is user friendly , informative and one can find a suitable tutor within a short time. It would be good to say that there is a cost involved. Also once a tutor is found ,please do not send any more emails .”

“Easy to use website, with plenty of information about the different tutors which makes the selection easy. If you have made contact with a tutor you don't have to stay on the website or check the website on a regular basis as First Tutors very conveniently will send a notification with a link to the reply. Really handy.”

“Funny I was planning to e mail you this morning to let you know my experience when this survey landed in my in box. Unfortunately I have had a mixed experience with First tutors. I paid my £25 for the release if David Read a maths tutor based in Gedling Nottingham. My son had his first appointment which cost £34 which was mainly a session working out what my son needed to work on. I have then been sent an email from the tutor saying that though my son is an ideal pupil that he would take on under normal circumstances he has had some recent medical tests and due to the stress of this is cancelling all pupils as immediate effect. Though my sympathies do go out to the tutor I am in a situation where I have paid £59 and am now having to research a new tutor which will cost another £25 to release the details of this second tutor totalling £84 and my son hasn't really got going on any lessons yet. I do not feel under the circumstances I can leave a bad review of David Read but my overall feeling at the moment is that I have been utterly ripped off.”
