“He didn't really listen to what my daughter wanted, she needs exam paper practice and technique not simply to read through the books, her Chemistry teacher does that at college, she has no problems learning it or understanding , just some help applying this knowledge to certain exam questions. We shall cancel any further lessons with the tutor.”

“First Tutors made it easy to find a local tutor. I was able to see their portfolios and compare the tutors available to me to see who would be most appropriate for my stage of learning. It was helpful to view their fees and see which tutors would be able to share the travelling. I would highly recommend this site for anyone looking for a tutor.”

“We are grateful for finding an excellent tutor but think that paying £25 to be able to access her details before we've even had a lesson will mean that we do not use this agency again. As a childcare provider myself, I would never consider charging new parents to come and meet me”

The introduction fee covers the costs of security checks on all our tutors which we believe is essential for safety and peace of mind. “Not happy, I had to pay £15.00 just to have tutor details and when the tutor came my daughter knew more maths than her and of course I had to pay another £25.00 for her time.”
