“The search engine could be a little bit more specific in the teaching area. Sometimes it’s difficult to find an experienced tutor in one area as the search engine shows just few options. For example, I was looking for a tutor of Design and technology but the search engine just gives me the Craft and Design which the results show a lot of Art teachers.”

“My 12yr old son asked for assistance with his maths , within a week he had a session with Rowan . He was quick to respond & easy to communicate with. He arrived on time , was friendly approachable and settled straight into their session. My son was focussed for the whole hour and asked for another session !”

“This is the first time I've used first tutors and I found it an excellent experience. it was easy to use and I was able very quickly to find a tutor that matched my specifications. I think the introduction fee is great value for money considering the variety of tutors available and the messaging service makes it a one stop shop.”

“I've used First Tutors to find Italian and Accounting tutors for my daughter. There was a good selection of tutors available and the tutors have been excellent. I would have given 5 stars but the distances from our home to the tutors was completely off - the site estimated 8Km, but it was over 20km. For online 1:1 classes this is not an issue but it would be problematic if we had a round trip of 50Km for lessons.”
