“Whilst going through the Internet for some time looking for a language tutor I found First Tutors and very quickly knew this was a serious but friendly content. All my questions were answered and was very easy to navigate to my final choice with whom I was talking to within 30 mins! Very easy to use with thorough information.”

“I have used first tutors a few times and have always appreciated the process and have found some very good tutors. My one issue is that I find the new website format not as flexible. Levels no longer clear and hence takes longer. Quite annoying . It took much longer to find the level I needed in the subject I needed. Luckily I managed to find the old site and from there it was very straight forward”

“I found a suitable tutor very quickly. First Tutors moderated the initial exchanges well - no personal details were divulged until we were ready. The process was seamless. No unnecessary info - only what's required.”

“Unfortunately John was not the right match for my daughter. She felt that whilst he had a good knowledge of German she felt he wasnt the right tutor for her.”

“Olivia is the prefect match for our needs, she is very organised, good listener, great tutor, her notes are spot on, she knew exactly what my daughter needed and got straight on with the task, I would highly recommend Olivia especially for junior cert Irish.”

“its good to have a page that matches up the tutors with the people looking a tuition. Great idea to let people talk freely (no payment ) until they know this tutor is suitable for their situation. Ten 10 of 10 for me to be be able to use your page with no phone ( an another page i looked at in my search for a tuition wont let me use it without a phone number ! Their loss !! ) So thanks for a brilliant service, keep the good work up. Will sure use your page in the future.”

“Julie was a brilliant teacher, really supportive kind and friendly. I will definitely be having more lessons with Julie and have booked in for our next session. Really enjoyed the lesson, was a bit nervous but Julie made feel at ease and has so much knowledge and really encouraged me to just give it a go. Cant wait for the next one!! Thanks Julie xx”

“It's really annoying that you have to pay for one lesson. We like to try out several tutors before selecting one, and this means we pay a fee for multiple tutors only to pick one. This time, for example, I paid to trial two French tutors and have decided to go forward with one only. The second tutor is also very good, but her experience is not as a good a match, so it's not a question of dissatisfaction. I've had to pay two fees though, which is irritating and means that First Tutors is the last place I look for tutors (and we currently have around 10 tutors).”

“The First Tutors website was very user friendly and gave detailed information about each tutor which really helped us choose a tutor which we felt had the most experience and who we felt was the right fit. Our son has had one session with his tutor and already has benefited from it. We are glad that we found the First Tutors website.”
