“A good website, with effective communication - my one gripe would be that the site appeared to select a tutor relative to the proximity of the I.P. address of the computer I was submitting from, rather than from my entered address, but overall, I would certainly use this site again.”

“First tutor website is easy to use and straightforward. The only thing is they only contact prospective tutors by email and the prospective tutor will email back the customer. Tutors have different age range and not all of them have upgraded phones with emails on the go. So delays in reponses from tutors are possible. I hope First Tutors can contact them through text messages as well. Tutors are more likely to have their phones with them all the time. Then First Tutors can respond to the customer through email or text messages.”

“An easy site to use , fortuitously the top of the list tutor lived 0.18 miles from us and so on reviewing his credentials seemed ideal .Liaising with him and then finalizing the tutoring was easy and straightforward”

“The site can be a little confusing to navigate at times, leaving the user unsure of whether any requests are being abandoned or saved. Also, there were not as many choices of tutors in the local area that I would have liked. We had one tutor accept and then turn us down as we hadn't responded within a few hours. Having said all that, once we had settled on a tutor the process from thereonin was quick and relatively simple. The option to put out the request for tutors to contact you is a good help too. The automatic reminders are useful. I would use this again.”

“Paul seemed like a very nice man and stayed well over the hour. Although my daughter was very tired as she has been unwell he managed to achieve quite a bit in the first lesson and make her smile. Her enjoying the lesson is important to me as I think this will encourage her learning. We look forward to commencing in earnest after our holidays in September and working all together to achieve results. Susan Strouvalis”

“My experience of using First Tutors has been a positive one to date. I haven't actually used any of the tutors as yet because it is the summer and we are waiting until September, so I have paid out for the contact details of 3 tutors, which is quite a large outlay. However, I don't know that I would have found tutors so easily any other way. I am really hoping that the outlay ends up being worthwhile. The tutors have all responded and been very helpful as well. So overall a positive impression of First Tutors.”
