As other customers our holiday wS cancelled due to covid and after numerous emails we have either been ignored or sent a generic reply. No refund that we are legally entitled to. I have reported them to CMA and will pursue this through the small claims court. I will never use this company again and I am disgusted by their arrogant and unprofessional attitude.

Today we should have been travelling to Tenerife for a lovely weeks all inclusive holiday booked via Fleetway Travel. We were going to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Due to the current situation an email was received from Fleetway Travel on 26 April cancelling the trip, which was to be expected. However numerous emails to them, including the CEO of Fleetway requesting a full refund so that we can have a big family party after everything settles down, no response whatsoever! Very disappointed with Fleetway having used them before with no problems. Decided yesterday to complain to ABTA !

Have booked a few holidays with Fleetway, and up until the Covid cancellations all was OK. However when things go wrong that’s when you find the true value of a company, in this case it is an impersonal don’t give a hoot about customer care or abiding by the law. I have emailed numerous times now and only get generic responses. My only course of action now has been to make a claim through Barclaycard.

The worst company ever. I hope all these negative reviews bring the under. I was due to leave april 11 for my trip. THEY CANCELED, NOT ME. According to their terms and conditions if they cancel I have a refund option. I do not want a credit note with this seedy company. I am from the USA so I am sure my hands are tied. I have tried repeatedly to contact them since March and I have only received on automated reply. Is this how British companies operate?

We were due to go away in March. Fleetway cancelled 6 days before departure. We have repeatedly requested a refund. We are both over 70 and unless they can GUARANTEE that we will be fit and able or even alive to take a re book or use a voucher anything other than a full refund now is useless. This was our first and is our last booking with them.

Would give a minus score if I could. I have complained every day by email to Fleetway and have put in a complaint to every legal entity I can think of, just hoping that quantity of complaints might get a result. ABTA and ATOL are absolutely useless. EVERYONE should be complaining to CMA as they are the government Watchdog with powers to investigate and enforce, so if anyone has not complained you need to do it now. In this instance quantity will matter. We all know they have our money and don't want to give it back. I have checked and they are worth millions with 3 other huge companies they own, Fleetway Aviation, Travelsmart Technologies and Travelsmart Holdings. I have contacted my MP, everyone should do that, as only the government will be able to force them to refund us. Don't sit back and do nothing. The more complaints the more chance of success sooner than later. UPDATE - the Government Transport Committee chaired by Huw Merriman MP, is now investigating and I have been in touch with him about Fleetway, you should all do the same and the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has had so many complaints they have announced they will be prosecuting companies who refuse cash refunds. If you haven't already, complain to CMA online. It's easy and quick and you will get your money back, otherwise these disgusting people will keep your money. GOOD LUCK! PS Don't fall for the fake reviews saying they have had a refund, they pay people to post these to keep their score higher than 1 star.

Previously had 2 lovely holidays with Fleetway but the illegal unhelpful way they have behaved in cancelling our holiday and refusing a refund means we would never use them again. They were, for us, the exception at this stressful time and we have accepted credit notes from other sources but who can believe that Fleetway will exist after this terminal shooting themselves in the feet. I have reported them to the CMA(Competion and Markets Authority) on the government website for unfair practice.

As Fleetway don't seem to want to give refunds, and as previous reviews below have already stated no refund offered plus I wouldn't trust their credit notes. what is interesting is that the week we booked and then decided to extend an extra week, the same hotel and Ryanair both have refunded. so if they can do this there is no excuse for Fleetway note to?

Despite asking specifically for a refund for our cancelled holiday, fleetway refused, insisting on their stupid vouchers or telling us to claim off our travel insurance. Totally illegal.

Like everyone else , clearly I’m not going on holiday today .. unlike everyone else (although they still haven’t received a refund ) I haven’t heard a thing , no email , no phone call nothing !!!!!!!

Can’t get hold of them to even request a refund! Same as everyone else all we had was an e mail telling us to contact OUR insurance! Appalling customer service! I had two other holidays booked with my local independent travel agent and these have been sorted straight away - shame on you Fleetway Travel!

Like everyone else our trip was cancelled due to covid-19, we have been trying to contact Fleetway and can not get through for love nor money! We received an email out of the blue stating that we contacted our insurance as they have cancelled our holiday, we had no other information on the email and can’t get a response so we can’t even provide our insurance with any information to start a claim! Looks like we will be in a small claims court! What a disgrace of a company

Since i am from the US i dont think contacting ABTA or filing in small claims court will do any good. Fleetway is not responding to any correspondence nor are the answering their phone. The dropped off the face of the earth since the pandemic hit. Please do not use this company ever. They are lining their pockets with free money and ripping people off of their hard earned money.

Similar issue with Fleetway as everyone else. Holiday cancelled, refund promised in 5 days. Nothing has happened and impossible to contact them. Trying a disputed payment claim with Barclaycard but just as hard to contact. Next stop ABTA. Don’t see an insurance claim succeeding until these avenues have been exhausted. Have previously had good experiences with Fleetway, but they obviously they don’t expect to be around when all this is over.

The Boss of ABTA have said today that all travel agents should refund money in full so we now need Fleetway to respond and tell us when we will get our refunds. It is a legal requirement

To all customers of Fleetway,if no money is returned suggest small claims court You will definitely get recompense plus interest set by the court and any costs incurred I have used in the pastVery simple forms are on line

Unless you want to be ignored and to lose money do not use fleetway. The cancelled our trip due to covid 19. Their T and Cs say they will refund your money. They denied my request then have not returned my subsequent calls and emails. They are keeping my money. Horrible customer service. Since booking and getting a cancellation i found they are stiffing many others. Also, past reviews say that many who have gone on trips had terrible experiences. Use another travel agent.

One appalling company. No response to emails. They are actually stealing people’s money as all airlines and hotels are refunding. Will never book with them again and hope everybody follows. Disgusting!!!

How can you, with good conscious, keep your clients money. Your policy says we have a right to a refund if you cancel AND YOU DID CANCEL. What didvyou do with our money? Gamble it away? You didnt have to pay for flights, you didnt have to pay hotel, transportation ir meals. You mock us by keeping our money. Im sure you are laughing over your clear profit. If i can give any of you looking to book with fleetway...DO NOT. They are dishonest.

The corona virus has caused fleetway to cancel our trip. They sent out an email stating we needed to file a claim with our insurance company even though fleetways terms and condtions promises a refund if they cancel. They refuse so i contacted my insurance and was told i need documentation direct from them stating the date, cost and reason for cancellation. Fleetway has not fulfilled my request so i cannot file a claim. They have not had any expenses for the trip i was supposed to take so the money they made off of me was 100 percent profit. This is the worse company ever.
