“An ad for Flooret popped up on my Instagram. I liked what I saw so I ordered several samples. The samples arrived quickly and was well packaged. When I opened the box I was very pleasantly surprised. Rarely do things I order online exceed my expectations, but the Flooret samples did. I knew immediately that I had found the company for my new floors. The only problem is trying narrowing it down to just one!”

“I've long been impressed with Flooret as I consider my flooring projects. Their samples and customer service are superior to any other flooring company I have yet encountered. I recently ordered cut samples of their newer Signature colors in hope of finding a better match for my projects. (While I enjoyed the previous shades, they didn't quite meet my need in a condo with lots of natural woodwork.) I am about to order plank-sized samples of Nakan and Palka. I think Nakan will meet my needs admirably, but I greatly appreciate the ease of ordering a few full plank samples just to make sure. Palka is a very close second, and I also really liked Yuzen. The other shades I ordered were nice too, just didn't quite match my needs at this time.”

“Pros: Love the thickness of the Flooret, looks nice, pretty color, wider planks are great! :) Cons: The darker color shows every single speck of dirt! If you are replacing floors it might be better, but when building a new house in the dirt it's been a nightmare, and any dirt will supposedly scratch the surface--ouch! Also, some pieces look like they were "stamped" twice and blurry-looking on the floor compared to others. Too late now, we only had just enough to finish our project so we just try not to look at those pieces. :(”

“Flooret is great to work with. The flooring is beautifully machined/super accurate, able to get really tight joints. My only beef is that I wish they would use more patterns as the knots and defects show up over and over (at least with the Soho pattern I purchased). I think this is an issue with other companies as well. But if the company is marketing itself as super premium, then they should spend a little more money up front to buy nice boards for photography. There is a big difference between the Signature and Base planks. Signature planks are longer and wider, and have a distinctive beveled edge. The Base planks have a micro bevel which is what I preferred. When I was shopping for product I found it difficult to imagine what the Base planks would look like as they only have photos on the website of the Signature planks.”

“This is a review of Flooret samples. I have not ordered and installed flooring yet. Flooret has some wonderful features: 40 mil wear layer, embossed in signature, large, sturdy planks, etc. Unfortunately, even after ordering samples of a fairly wide variety of designs, including two full planks of Gibson Signature, I am still undecided. The online photos are SO terrible--most of them overexposed and not true to color, so you absolutely HAVE TO get samples. Some of the designs (like Gibson) supposedly have a fair amount of variation in the plank shading. However, the two samples I received were almost identical, so not at all helpful in seeing the true color range. The one thing I dislike about this flooring is the enhanced bevels. I have dogs, and those bevels looks like they will collect every dog hair and piece of debris that lands on them. This may be a deal breaker for me.”

“Modin flooring is hands-down superior to any of the other products we sampled during our search for new flooring. The wear layer is TWICE the thickness of the industry-standard, the warranty is unsurpassed and, being factory-direct, the low-cost was the icing on the cake! The customer-service is AMAZING, and the shipping and delivery were absolutely flawless. Installation is dirt-simple for a novice like me, but it took a little bit to get into a rhythm! By the time I finished the last room (I did four bedrooms), it was like I'd been doing floor installation all my life! As always, do your due-diligence on product-selection, but I think you'll find this product hard to beat on any aspect.”
