“The food was really liked and it was an excellent present, but I the courier didn't deliver the parcel direct to the person it was ordered for. She lives in a block of flats and the courier delivered the parcel to an estate office, and didn't let me or her know, so she didn't get her present for her birthday. I would order the hamper/food package again, but not if they used the same courier to deliver it.”

“I chose Boroughbox because I could order a selection of gin miniatures with a selection of mixers and snacks, which made a perfect birthday gift. It was really nicely packaged and exciting to open. My husband was very happy”

“Very pleased with the options available on the website and nively priced. Due to natiobal lockdown having to do a gin experience from home but very excited as it was nicely presented. Yet to give it as its a birthday gift but if I was to be gifted I would have absolutely loved it. Item was delivered in a speedy manner and overall would be highly recommending the website to friends and family.”

“I was very impressed with the service and product. I ordered three mini prosecco and chocolate gift boxes for a birthday Zoom call. Two were for delivery to London and one for delivery to Edinburgh. They were ordered on 25th February and were required for a birthday call in the evening on the 26th. All three deliveries, including the Edinburgh one had been completed by the afternoon, so in plenty of time for the call. The recipients were delighted with the product which was beautifully packaged and of very good quality. I was very pleased.”

“I ordered some pies for delivery to another address. The courier did not attempt to inform the recipient ( or me ) that the pies were enroute. The courier did not use the doorbell so the recipient who was at home missed the delivery. Delivery was re arranged for the next day and the recipient sat in the hall and waited for the courier, who again did not use the doorbell. Fortunately the company supplying the pies had packaged them well and they were still cold. Most of the pies were frozen by the recipient but one he has eaten was reported as being very good, a mild cheese mixture with an unusual pastry. Pies good. Courier stupid.”

“Sent a letterbox bottle of red wine to my sister for her birthday. Ideal gift as she works long hours and picking up parcels from post offie difficult. Disappointing that postman left a card and didn’t deliver. Waste of time!!”
