“Quality of the food was generally ok but the management of the delivery process, covid-notwithstanding, and related communication was very poor. We ordered 100+ hampers for a corporate event and many did not arrive for the event with no prior communication. The issue was not with the courier as the hampers were not handed over to the courier for delivery. I can't imagine we would take the risk and order with BoroughBox in the future.”

“Probably due to autocomplete, my order contained a clearly incorrect delivery address. Yes, I should have double checked, but a simple sense check at BoroughBox should have flagged the order at their end (the street name was a date for example). Item has not arrived as a result. Emailed customer services two weeks ago, but received no reply.”

“Ordered 5 separate items, all supplied by BoroughBox themselves....12 days later - nothing has arrived. When looking at contacting support, I found that their Phone Lines and Social media (for support) have been stopped so they cant offer support - this should have been my first warning that they are receiving so many support complaints they cant keep up. Once you email them, you wait a few days for a reply to email and then the support team are extremely quick to blame the postal couriers, but if you read their Twitter or review sites (TrustPilot and here) they blame Royal Mail, Yodel and Hermes....so that doesnt seem right. I gave them plenty of opportunities to do something to fix the issue, even waiting extra time as they said it should update "in a day or so" - was offered a refund of the postage for the late delivery, but it was never actually given (or maybe its just late due to the couriers?). They are unable to blame the 3rd party sellers, all items are from themselves but they dont seem to be able to get things out the door. Now to do battle and try and get my money back - I fear this could be just as bad. Please please please, do your homework before you order from these guys. Just read some of the review first - that was my mistake and one I wont be making in the future!”

“My parcel is very late (I placed my order 11 days ago) and I have received no update as to when it will arrive. You appear to still be taking orders from your website even though you ant deal with the ones youve got. Ive sent a query and not had any response . HIRE MORE STAFF !!”

“I ordered a 'a day's walk box' as a gift for my husband, I received a phone call to check the convenience of the proposed delivery, and sure enough it arrived when promised, in perfect condition, still beautifully chilled. The Woodalls sausages were fabulous, and the various bacon items an absolute treat. It's a wonderful service and a great opportunity to buy products that are usually only available in the lakes. “These are super cute and something a little different. The recipients haven't received them yet, but I know they will be thrilled!. I have bought these for the last couple of years for students who are moving on. I was told they are delish!!! Can recommend. Delivery was quick and well packaged. Thankyou!!!”

“I would love to leave a comment on how good the chocolate tasted! I never got to taste it as the box arrived early in the morning and by the time I got home from work the poorly person it was ordered for had consumed the contents! Hey ho maybe next time?”
