“Absolutely delighted with my heirloom Greek yoghurt culture. Making delicious and consistent batches of thick and creamy yoghurt without needing to strain. It beats using even the best supermarket yoghurt as a starter culture. Very very happy to have discovered Freshly Fermented.”

“First time ordering from Freshly Fermented. The prices were very good (unlike some other similar companies who have chosen to raise their prices during the COVID-19 crisis). The website was very easy to use so making our choices was quick and simple. With thoughtful packaging and a fairly speedy delivery what’s not to like? We will definitely be placing further orders.”

“Jun Tea Scoby delivered quickly and well packed. The instructions were clear and precise on the website, but I had a few questions as I had not made Jun Tea before and the fermenrtation time and process is different from Kombucha. My questions were answered quickly and the company were most helpful. I'm on my 4th batch of Jun Tea now and the Scoby has produced a baby one, so I'm happy with the quality.”

“Very helpful staff who answered my questions about keeping starters alive . I purchased two types and the advice sheet included was very helpful. I have made several loaves since purchasing starters and am very pleased with the result. I shall be ordering a starter for my daughter in December when she arrives from France. I am very happy to recommend Freshly fermented as they are very knowledgable and the products are excellent.”

“Ordered some originally for my Dad who has been struggling with his starter. He was very pleased so placed an order for myself last week. Order arrived quickly and was well packaged. Followed instructions re feeding and it was back to full strength in two days. Used the discard to make some sourdough waffles. Looking forward to trying some of the other products on the site.”

“Great product, bought 80g of water kefir grains after three ferments they developed into just under a kg of grains. Have two ferments going now and one batch of grains 'sleeping' in the fridge. Delivery was fast and well packaged and will definitely deal with this company again.”
