“Good informative website, with lots of information on how to care for products and what to do with them, including recipes. The recipe for No-knead sourdough is excellent; I've tried it twice, it's easy for beginners, and the results have been consistently good. Although my order took over a week to arrive, it is made clear on the website that customers should expect delays due to the both high demand for products and the impacts of C-19, and I was kept well informed throughout on the progress of my order. The products I received are very good quality and I'm pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Freshly Fermented.”

“I can only recommend their milk kefir grains. They arrived with the delay but it must have been caused by the current situation which they cannot be blamed for. It’s a brand new experience to make your own kefir and I love it!! Thank you”

“The scobi and ginger beer plant arrived promptly and worked well, also the on-line instructions for preparing the brews were clear which was good as it was my first time experimenting with kombucha and ginger beer.”

“I bought the freeze dried sourdough starter. I am a total novice to sourdough starter so wasn’t sure if I was feeding correctly etc. But just brought my first loaf out of the oven and for a 1st attempt very happy with result. Great crust and flavour. I would probably try the fresh starter next. Very pleased”

“Freshly Fermented provide a much needed product for making yoghurts and sourdough breads etc. It is hard to make a good sourdough culture from scratch so the cultures from Freshly Fermented are very helpful.”
