“Very happy with my water kefir grains. They arrived in good time and were of high quality. After following the instructions, I'm enjoying creating different flavoured drinks to increase the gut health of my family and friends. I would definitely recommend Freshly fermented for quality products and service.”

“An excellent product with clear instructions. Produces consistently good results. Let it secondary ferment and it is even better but make sure you are using suitable bottles.... I use 500ml supermarket carbonated water bottles - ideal.”

“I bought the Viili yoghourt culture Which a friend recommended to use as Deodorizer for my smelly trainers. I followed the instructions to the letter separated the mixture in half and poured it into the trainers and left them to ferment. The principle being that the viili culture eats the trainer odor bacteria and once it sets you have lovely smelling trainers and lovely yoghourt to munch on. It works a treat once it sets scoop out the yogurt and set aside give the trainers a quick wipe and they smell like brand new. I have just set off a batch in the wife’s Wellington’s and one is on the go in my sheep skin slippers. I cannot recommend highly enough a delicious snack and shoe deodorizer in one The Swiss Army knife of foods.”

“I am new to making kefir and found that the process of purchasing the kefir grains and the after service was brilliant. There are in depth instructions on the website that I have used may times which have been really helpful. Very happy kefir maker!”

“I ordered sourdough, water kefir and kombucha scoby, all healthy and thriving. The instructions online are clear, comprehensive and simple, though I would recommend further reading to reach their full potential. Bread rises beautifully without any other raising agents. I think it is clear that this company genuinely cares about its products”

“I have been unable to make my own sourdough starter so thought a ready-made one was worth a go. I bought the San Francisco starter and within a week was delighted to have delicious tangy sourdough. I like that the starter is more runny than some, as it doesn't grow lots so is easily contained. It's been fun using the small amount of discard in other recipes too. Great service from Freshly Fermented in these tricky times, and lots of useful information on their website.”
