“Easy to order with delivery as stated. Use on hold at the moment due to Xmas etc. However, instructions clear as to how this is managed.”

“Arrived quickly, well packaged and good signposting to online instructions. Sourdough starter is up and running, made a couple of loaves and working well, even though I delayed a bit in giving it an initial feed. Happy baking!”

“Bought the creme fraiche starter because I couldn't get hold of decent full-fat creme fraiche locally and it has been a total game changer. Now its matured we can make as much creme fraiche as anyone could ever eat in about 24 hours using just one dessert spoon of the previous batch. It's easier than yogurt and far more delicious than any of the shop bought ones - I even prefer it to the French d'isigny appellation! Highly recommended”

“Ordered Kefir grains. A few days wait and delivered safely by mail. Instructions for activation were easy to follow. First batch, as expected was a little acidic but second batch was delicious. Grains are already expanding and coping with more milk. Thank you”

“Great idea and super fast delivery. I was thinking of creating my own starter but then stumbled upon FF and it just saved me the hassle. Bought wet and dry versions, only activated the wet one so far and it's bubbling along. Made pizza dough and sourdough bread so far, not at a bakery standard but I'll get there”

“We are completely delighted with the customer service and support provided by freshly fermented. We recently purchased 10g of Kefir grains and have already enjoyed several pints of kefir. This is a whole new world for my husband and I but we are really enjoying making kefir and it is a simple procedure but takes a bit if care but works well if you use the instructions given and we found there is a wealth of support and information on the website.”
