“Turned to Fruugo because unable to find the desired shoes in or near my country. Took the chance since product plus shipping price was reasonable.
Upon order with card payment, got positive email notifications from Fruugo on order being processed and when shipped.
10 days after order, item received at my doorstep. Would have been 2 days earlier if not for a hitch with the local postal delivery. Shoes was actually shipped by Charles Clinkard. Filmsy sealed plastic bag packaging but no damage with the box and shoes.
Quite satisfied with the overall experience. Would be best if Fruugo or Charles Clinkard has given me the shipping tracking number.
Will definitely buy from Fruugo again. And for shoes, maybe direct from Charles Clinkard. LOL.

The answer would in the most cases be no, their also using non-daily used words to make to make it seem more trustworthy, making up a story isn’t hard at all and also mentioning the negative reviews. “I didn't have any hope of receiving my parcel after I've read all the negative reviews on ordering through Fruugo, but I guess I'm one of the lucky ones (or all the hoping and praying helped) that DID receive my order ! It took 1 month and 1 day though, but it was delivered at my home here in South Africa today. The product is also better quality than what I expected. Thankful....!”
“Never again. Was told my pet meds would be "dispatched" within 3 days. One week later still no notification they had been shipped. Followed up. Got a message from Mike - I'll go check in the warehouse and see if we have any. Further email from Mike - we have it and will ship on Monday (now Thursday). That's when I looked into Singpet - in Indonesia. Began to seriously wonder when it would arrive - in 2 months? Told Mike to cancel my order and refund my money. Next day got email meds had been shipped. Refused to cancel my order. Also told would arrive by July 1 - when I will be on holidays and one month after I ordered them. Never again. Be forewarned. Order from Canada.”
“They are scammers. The buyer sent a wrong item which was 150 euros that what I ordered. The return address provided by the seller and Fruugo were in different countries. I never received my money back although Fruugo several times wrote that they are issuing a refund. Now I am engaging a lawyer to get my back. Stay away from them!!!”
“Okay. The majority of reviews on the web conclude that this site scams people out of their money. I saw this AFTER I ordered a pair of hiking boots and was convinced that I had just lost my money. After analyzing the emails that were sent after my purchase and after my boots shipped I couldn't decide what to think, SO, I decided the only thing to do was wait and see if they would arrive in the estimated delivery time.
Well, they did! Shipped from the U.S. (I'm in Canada), I had to pay a small duty fee and had my boots! I was pleasantly surprised and had my faith restored.
I advise you to be the judge: If the pandemic taught us anything about ordering things online it's that shipping can be majorly delayed/things can get lost in transit. Perhaps that's why this site has gotten so many poor reviews?

“SCAM COMPANY!!! As everyone before me wrote, I ordered 6 packs of tapioca pearls and opted for express shipping which cost 20% more than what the items were valued as I needed it ASAP.
