“Worst experience ever. I bought a Roblox code and never received anything. When I contacted support, they told me to reach out to the supplier and claimed they had nothing to do with it. In the end, I lost my money and nothing was done. Their replies were always copy-paste messages, clearly just to dismiss customers instead of solving the problem. This feels like a scam. “G2A is a Scam. So I bought a key and was sent an invalid key then seller refused to refund. G2A said give them 7 days but after 7 days they removed my account stating I violated their guidelines.”

“I purchased a Prepaid Virtual Visa (GLOBAL) card on G2A, only to find out it could only be activated using a U.S. address, making it completely unusable internationally. This contradicts the listing, which clearly advertised it as GLOBAL. I first contacted the seller, who tried to blame Visa. When I pushed back with evidence, they said they’d get back to me in 2–3 business days — and then vanished. I escalated to G2A Support, who told me to wait at least 7 days before they’d take action. After that, instead of resolving the issue, G2A defended the seller, citing time zones and saying they were “reputable” and needed more time. Once I showed clear screenshots and explained it had been 12 days with no reply, G2A still asked me to resend all the proof — as if nothing had been submitted. After I resent everything again, they finally started an automated refund process — but without any acknowledgment of the poor experience or responsibility. Not even a courtesy message. Just a silent refund process that takes 28 days. Let that sink in: Misrepresented product Seller disappeared G2A defended the seller Ignored previous proof Took 2 weeks to act 28-day refund delay No apology. No ownership. No urgency. This was a complete failure in customer support and platform accountability. G2A clearly prioritizes sellers over buyers, even when clear proof is provided and the listing is deceptive. I will never use G2A again. If you're considering it, be warned — if anything goes wrong, you're in for a long, frustrating, and one-sided process.”

“Support is the absolute worst, I suggest getting your key or game elsewhere. Support has taken months to respond and have asked me for proof from Microsoft that the code doesn't work so I provided proof directly from Microsoft and g2a's response was to close me ticket.... they suck and won't listen to your problem”

“I have away $50 believing I would receive a code for 12 months subscription to Xbox core. I instead received a 3rd party long drawn out instructions of which I ended up with a fraudulent email address that left me stranded. G2A bailed immediately and I'm out $50. Don't do it!”

“They tricked me. Some codes were obviously advertised with a weird system to get a new account with the game instead of having a key to download the game on your account, some other were not obvious but just the same. As soon as I complained I got this: Your account has been blocked due to violation of our rules and policies.We're sorry but this decision cannot be changed and your account will not be reinstated.”
