“DO NOT USE ADMIRAL INSURANCE After storm Darragh my roof started leaking on my property causing water damage. Started the claims process with admiral and was passed on to evolution claims. They sent a surveyor around to my property to gather information and evidence, after 2 weeks no response so I called to get an update I was told that unfortunately the wind speeds were not high enough to warrant my claim as the wind speeds had to be over 55mph and it was only 46mph complete lie. Did my research and got in touch with admiral directly they checked another weather station and all of a sudden I met the criteria as the wind speeds were in excess of 60mph plus. Great news so I thought days went past no reply I called evolution claims again only to be told that I wasn’t covered now as I hadn’t maintained my roof (who maintains there roof until they have a problem) and there was too much moss on it which has contributed to the problem. They agreed the storm has caused the issue but my lack off maintenance and upkeep is the reason it has leaked and I am not covered for the roof or any of the damage inside my property.what is the point of having insurance if when you need it you can’t claim! DO NOT USE ADMIRAL INSURANCE”
