“I habe taken car insurance from admiral last month, the insurance coverage and steps to fill up the details are good clear and concise (i have given very satisfied rating in my previous rating).
But, I am overall DISAPPOINTED now.
When I purchased the insurance on 17th Dec, I did not have the DVSA Pass Plus certificate, but now within a month i have completed the pass plus advance driving course and approached Admiral to amend the same and give me the discount, they said they can’t give any discount.
DVSA in UK clearly says that pass plus is a certified advance sriving course which helps to give upto 25-30% discount on the insurance. And it’s logical as it makes the car more safe.
But admiral did not consider this, this is really really disappointing and I will RETHINK after one year whether i will ata ll renew my car insurance with Admiral… to be honest, i took some travel insurances earlier some times from admiral, hence for my first car i preferred to go with admiral, but this type of experience disappointed me a lot.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND admiral to anyone fo any type of insurance if such valid cases are not considered by them. It’s just a insurance business for them, no consideration for existing loyal customers! Very disappointing.”

“I had been with Admiral for 3 years and I was disappointed.
Even though as a experienced driver of over 10 years, I accepted a black box insurance so I could have a cheaper rate as the other rates I was being quoted was extortionate.
When it came to my renewal even though I had a near on perfect score everytime I got my weekly feedback, they tried bumping my car insurance up by an extra £23.69 PCM which is utterly ridiculous and that's why I changed car insurance.
There is no loyalty and why boost premiums when they should go down? Especially after 8 years NO claims and the only mark down I got on my driving score was what time I drive. I take my kids to and from school which I stated when I took on the car insurance.

They make you to take out all the policies and covers, so you are under the impression that you are fully protected. However, when you ask for something that you’re entitled to, they don’t give it to you and are extremely unhelpful.
