“OK if your cat is ill between 9 and 5 . My cat had a possible life threatening illness of Blocked bladder syndrome. After discussion with the out of hours vet, he said, I will be at the surgery in 5 minutes'. Fortunately, the cat had something not quite so serious, but had I not acted and he had Blocked Bladder syndrome as suspected, the cat would be dead. Animal friends refused to pay out the claim, as it turned out not to be life threatening. When I asked them should I have let my cat die then, they did not really have an answer. READ THEIR SMALL PRINT VERY CAREFULLY. IT COULD COST YOU DEAR!”

“Quick and easy to set up. Policy options comprehensive. Luckily I have not had to claim so cannot comment on that part of the service but overall very happy.”

“No problem buying the policy. Have to wait and see what happens if I claim. Previous experience with Insurance Companies is quite a delay between claiming and getting paid. Have not had a claim with Animal Friends, so who knows they may be an exception.”

“Unfortunately I lost my puppy Roman shortly after taking out the policy with them. During this difficult time they were happy to pay out for the necessary treatment & part of the cost I paid for him as he was a pedigree. This took some of the stress away from me and kept my costs down. I would be happy to take out a policy with them again in the future when I get a new dog.”
