Seems comprehensive and good value. Sadly it seems underwriters are increasing windscreen excesses on renewals including screen repairs that used to be free. Never claimed so I don’t know how well claims are handled. I have a second car but was unable to get any quote online, I was redirected at the end to a telephone number. Called this and waiting was eventually picked up bu customer service (CS) but was told I needed to speak to sales. Was redirected but went back to CS again but explained and CS did give me a quote (just do t understand why this can’t be don’t online). I am unable to see or get web chat working in my iPad with v15.7.2 and it’s Safari browser. The only way I realised it was there was when I clicked on the ‘Show me around’ link! Tried webmail but got no response regarding 2nd car insurance quote. Yet to understand why the NCD is per policy and not with the driver!

On renewal disappointed with quote. After a ten minute phone call with them an acceptable reduced figure was agreed, if this had been offered initially it would have gone down better. This being said, they were very helpful, courteous and efficient in the renewal. Hopefully if they play ball on renewal next year I will remain a loyal member.

Happy with my insurance quote, with a little exception. I have had no claims on this insurance and thought I’d ask before renewing about adding on my Son-in-law. During the original discussions the operator said it’s cheaper to add another driver. So i thought let’s get it done. Nooooo the price was more than double to add a clean driver. Not happy!!

Hi, easy transaction for car insurance renewal, the only issue was the large increase in cost. . . Difficult on a state pension!

Been happy until this year renewal and now not so much, will be looking at changing now pending quotes from other companies. This time I’ll be looking lots earlier. Unfortunately there’s no discount for loyalty anymore so must do the same.

Price increase was very minimal which was very good. Down side was for the last 2 years I have requested a printed copy of the actual insurance certificate to be posted to me as my home printer no longer works but I have still not received one.

Renewal was automatically with an increae on the premium I did want to alter the details but i was quoted a large admin fee. I'll most probably be locked in as the email reminder was missed or not received.

You renewed automatically?? Not good Prices are way too high. You DON'T reward long term driving skills and lack of claims like you should DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT INSTEAD OF SAYING YOU DO IN ADVERTISING

They ask how budget made me happy. I can't say it made me happy other than I just wanted a cheap insurance and as I have never made a claim I can't say how good or bad they are.

I was sent my renewal which had gone up a lot. When I queried it they reduced it dramatically! How does that work? My husband had the same issue but they wouldn't reduce it. He went onto a comparison site and got it £150 cheaper using the same insurer. Not great for a broker who's meant to get you the best deal!!!

Tried to jip me when insurance was do for renewal ,, phoned them up and magically over 200 quid was knocked of price ,, should be giving your customers the best price , plus when my car got stolen ,never got offered a courtesy car even tho it was in my policy

Very dissapointed, After being with budget for 12 months and no claims i found my policy went up approx £10 ,instead of comming down il be looking elsewere next year
