Renewed my car insurance with them, not happy that it's gone up a fair bit, I've never claimed on it so don't understand why.....

They are not an insurance company just take your money to make if legal for you to use your car on the road .

Excellent price for my contents policy but way out on motor insurance. Got covererd loke for like for nearly 50% less than yge quote. Very friendly and helpfull staff but I was very dissapointed.

Had to ring to get a renewal at a decent price (as is usual for all insurance companies). After ringing there was no online or mailed confirmation of the new price, so had to ring again to get verbal confirmation, and they don’t update the renewal offer letter. Having to ring to cancel the continuous payment authority on my card is a nuisance. CPA’s always feel like the company is trying to obtain money by stealth.

I have been with this company for many years with no claims my premium increased heavily this year I rang to ask why and if there was any room to negotiate to be told I could always go elsewhere so much for loyalty!! I was going away so had no time to shop around and had to renew with them but next year I will be looking for a better quote

I like the fact the app is easy to use . Staff are friendly however not keen on the late charges and the fact the insurance doesn’t come down much in price as a continued customer .

Your first quote was very high, but when I pointed this out your representative found a quote around £100 cheaper within about 5 minutes. Why don't you do this research BEFORE giving your first quote. Second quote was still £20 more than elsewhere, but I couldn't be bothered with all the effort required to change so I stuck with you. NOT BRILLIANT

I have insured my car with Budget for a few years now, and have always been happy with the price and ease to get my car legal. My renewal was on the 18th of January this year. My renewal quote was great so I went ahead and renewed. I was happy!! On the 31st of January I treated myself to a new car and called Budget to change my policy over to the new car. I was quoted £668 to make the change when I only renewed 2 weeks before for £180ish fully Comprehensive on my old car. The lady on the phone said the £668 was on top of the price I paid on the 18th January!!!!! So that would make my insurance £850ish for the year???!!! I declined the offer and decided to let the insurance run for the year on my old car, even though I don’t own it now. I went online and got my new car insured for £220 fully comprehensive for the year with the same perks as my old one but also legal cover. I then added my girlfriend to my policy and it only cost me an extra 61 pence!! I was happy with Budget but that cost to swap my policy made me go elsewhere. I found out after as well that Budget only give you no claims up to 9 years, I should have way more than that so I’ve missed out on those extra years as well. Sorry Budget but you lost a customer but I was happy while I was there!

Overall good, but when I have upgraded my Address, I’ve been told that it’s going up by £32 a month . After trying to put my Partner on as a second Driver I have been told another £32 would be added per month. As I know most Insurance would be cheaper when you add a second driver.

Average score as although the renewal process seems to be quite smooth, I (fortunately) have not had to contact them for anything at present so cannot really quote on any other part of the service.

Have emailed 3 times now, 2 before my policy renewed and 1 after regarding a change of address !! . Not 1 reply back.

Dissapointed, had a renewal quote over the phone, which although it had gone up a lot on previous year, I accepted. When you took the full payment out of my bank , you took an extra £45.00 above my verbal quote. After a phone call to your office I did get a return of my 45.00, but I should not had to do this. Think next year I will shop around.

Take to long to sort out claim get pass to many people and end up going round in circles. Still not sorted my claim out give up with them . Would not recommend the company

Original quote was competitive. I called to sort it out and all was ok. Then I get a message saying that I wasn’t set up to automatically pry, so I get charged an extra £20 and now my cost is more than other companies? Why was I not told until it was too late, so that I had to pay a penalty?

No complaints, easy to deal with and I renewed so that says a lot. One gripe - twice asked for paper copies of documents and never received them. All in all would recommend, but it will cost you a printer!

The price was OK so I let the policy roll over from last year. I hadn’t realised that I had not updated my payment to a new card and Budget charged me £20 late payment, thus making the insurance expensive. Not very happy .

Good price and value (even if not claimed) however been given £5.00 Argos voucher to say thank you ! However when went to use I down loaded and the voucher did not exist !!! Very disappointed as I was about to use (embarrassed was I ) Maybe in future just take £5.00 off premiums!

I have been a customer for many a year and haven't needed to claim during these many years on any of the three vehicles on cover. We recently disposed of one vehicle and now wished to add a new one in our company's name but were told that they didn't provide cover for this Peugeot Expert 1.6 diesel. Why not do they only cherry pick vehicles they like the look of? Very Disappointed. Alan
