“Overall I've been pleased with being insured with Carrot. All the staff I spoke to on the phone and the engineer were all pleasant and friendly. My only problem is that for driving for about 4 minutes down the road at around 11:30pm I got a -9.48 score when there is meant to be no curfew.”

“The company is well when it comes to pricing, was cheaper than anyone else and had fair conditions that needed to be met. As well as it all started out, the company does have its flaws. I shouldn't have to wait an hour to get a hold of carrot. The guy on the other side was extremely pleasant to talk to none the less but it was the waiting time that was a real struggle against when you live a busy lifestyle. The black box, while making it easier to see how to improve in terms of 'speed' and 'smoothness', the meter for 'usage' is an exception as it doesn't matter what time of day or if it's rush hour. That number always drags me down for something that is outwith my control. Other that these queries, the company has been welcoming and I haven't had anymore issues with them. I just with they could review the systems that they have in place to improve their overall appeal.”

“Nice and easy setup, although the reward scheme I feel should be made clearer especially with it being one of Carrot's USP's. Happy with the service so far and cheaper and more rewarding then any other provider when researching.”

“Cheapest insurance I could find which was a massive bonus as it can be extortionate for first time drivers like myself. Black box makes me aware of my speed and driving, my parents definitely prefer it”

“Very good service, when I have a enquiry they are always very helpful. Only problem would be as mentioned by others; when you drive late it affects the score quite a bit but that is part of the parcel but all in all I've had a great experience with carrot!”

“I really like how Carrot rewards you for driving safely and monitoring your driving. My only disappointment with it is that the scoring process picks up on long journeys and gives a poor driving score.”

“Carrot was very reasonable and the staff helpful, the black box is another story in it self, it isn't accurate and I think unfair for the youngster, my sons one didn't work to start with and no one notified us until I queried why I couldn't find any information from it, also he uses the car every day on a 20 min journey each way and it says for usage it isn't enough! also when I have been in the car with him he's not gone fast but it's registered he's gone over the limit when he hasn't! I agree with these but think they need to be updated like a tracker. I would definitely recommend using Carrot to other youngsters though.”

“They're easy to contact by phone and email. The best thing about the insurance is the app telling you how you've been driving and what rewards you can receive. It keeps track on how many miles you've done which is super helpful too. My first quarter I received £60 back and it arrived so quick considering it was over the Christmas period that the first quarter ended. Very impressed.”

“Carrot insurance was my cheapest quote which was very good! I have never had any problems with carrot insurance although it seems many other have... the quarterly rewards are great as a little extra money helps with fuels or other bits! The usage bit on the black box is annoying but apart from that all good!”
