“Great company to be with, makes a young driver with a black box feel better with the rewards and I've recommended a friend and he went ahead and loves it as well! No strict restrictions on the box either, so it's fantastic!”

“After reading bad reviews, i can say that i strongly disagree with those reviews because they have been brilliant! The app is fine the only issue is that the 3 things that you are getting scored on is not clearly explained unless going to the website, other than that the app is perfect. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is getting insurance for the first time! I cannot agree or disagree with the customer service reviews as i have not needed to call them but other than that i am very happy with everything! ****”

“Cancelled my policy for apparent speeding!! On a road with speed bumps! DO NOT go with this company. look elsewhere as they will sting you eventually.”

“I was really reluctant to get a black box on my car but it has turned out to be the best thing I could have done. I'm very happy with the service and the app is great. The only problem I have is with having a curfew because I miss out on important things we do with work”

“The app cannot tell the difference between me driving my car and me being on a train. Needless to say I am constantly being threatened with cancellation of my policy due to breaking the national speed limit across fields. Also do not even try ringing them during the week, you're on hold for ages and their systems are constantly crashing. Not to mention being charged over £100 for moving down the road when the difference in prices for new quotes at the addresses concerned was only £30 for the year! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”

“As a first time driver and with zero experience in purchasing cover, Carrot have been incredibly helpful in making sure everything went as smooth as possible. The app is also great, I can check it after each drive to see how well I'm doing and how much of a reward I'm on track to achieve. Overall, a great company with a clear emphasis on making the customer feel comfortable and happy!”

“Staff at the insurance company are always really helpful, and have helped me choose the right cover. Once the policy was purchased, all the documents were emailed over straight away, and everything was explained in details. The app is really easy to use, as it allows you to find out where you're going wrong and what needs improving in your driving. In addition it keeps my parents mind at peace that I'm a safe driver.”

“I've been insured with carrot for a few months now and they are always keeping me updated with emails which I love and unlike my previous insurer they don't give me any problems! Really recommend getting insured with carrot”
