WARNING DO NOT SCROLL PAST : Do not insure with this company. From my 1 years experience of insuring through this company I have had only negatives to say about them. It seems like it's run in a shed by secondary school kids. As a young driver myself I found that this was the cheapest insurance but honestly if I had known how bad these people manage a business I would have gone through another insurer. They told me that if I have any sort of sticker in my car whether its inside or outside of the car then they cannot insure me as it classes as a modification! This means that if you have an accident and they inspect your vehicle and find a sticker then they may not pay out! They are rediculous! I had a claim 7 months ago and they still have not got back to me. They are useless! Also If you decide to call them for whatever reason you best put the kettle on or even go to the cinema because that's how long it takes for them to finally answer the phone after being held in a quee for 45 minutes EVERY TIME AS WELL! I have countless stories about this company and only bad things to say about them from my experience. I promise you that you will regret insuring your car through these idiots.

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! They are rude. Unhelpful. Will try and cancel with you because you done excessive speeding but that’s not the case. This isn’t the easiest insurance company I have been with.. glad I cancelled with them.

Terrible customer service, threatens customers rather than advising them, only a fool would insure their car through the excuse of a insurance company 'carrot insurance'.

Hello I have been trying to get a fee to see how much it will cost me to cancel my car insurance for over 3 weeks now!!!!! I have phoned and spoken to PHIL who also spoke with my Dad and promised a call in a couple of days (this was 11/9 !!!!!) I have web chatted with you and asked for a call from PHIL which never came!! I called today 2/10 and spoke with GARY who must be the same department as PHIL as the same number and he told me he could not help and put me through to Cancellations of which I was on hold for over 30 minutes! I am now trying to call again but I have been on hold with no answer for 17 minutes now!!!!! I just want an answer to a simple question! My dad is about to contact the Insurance Ombudsman because this is disgraceful!

Used a random premium fig for my next quote rather than using the last years premium paid. Said they made a mistake but will not change my quote. It went up by £150 per month. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Everything how can you cancel a policy because of no activity in the black box when the car had been in a garage for three weeks.no understanding or compassion for young drivers.so upsetting and stressful.

Would never use this company again.Box records inaccurate journeys had 3 fitted this year so far,now having problems with inaccurate data from them,purchased 250 miles got an email from them threatening to cancel insurance as was over milage,turns out it hadn't been put on system,used 44 miles checked app got a reading of-294 rang them up and was told the app had taken the 44 miles off as well as the 250 just purchased and it would be sorted.Now app is telling me I have miles then it's in minus,also purchased 250 miles when I got to 12000,again milage in minuses now being told I've gone over my milage by 312 but nowhere does it say this,where's my 250 miles gone I purchased,they said the app and their website had been giving me incorrect information due to yet another error in their systems,they say they will give me 1200 miles free but are taking out the 312 miles that I have no proof I have done and if I have gone over it is only because of the errors in their systems but it still doesn't change the fact that I bought 250 miles and they have just disappeared,worst insurance company ever,do not use them,worst experience ever.

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. had an email saying i was speeding excessively and that my policy was being cancelled in 7 days, had no warning email or anything. WORST insurance company.

Don't go no where near Corrot Insurance, i paid deposit of £150.00 21 days ago, they cancelled my policy without informing me because i did not get my box installed within time, they come to my house without notification while i was at work and, then a called to rearrange they could not fit me in which meant my policy cancelled. the next day i called again for a new policy, again paying £150.00 the day after i arranged for my box to be fitted at work, they came to fit my box within 2 minutes he left saying this could not be done, i called carrot and because of my standard tinted widows, and a sticker at the back end of my car which is the size of a 2p, what they called modified, they cancelled my policy, refunding me £30.00. so all in all they cost me £270.00 for around 22 days insurance. DO NOT GO WITH CARROT THEY WILL FIND A WAY TO TAKE AS MUCH MONEY OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am now going to citizens advise

Appart from the fact that the BlackBox policy is not very strict, Carrot are absolutely wack! They have no consideration for dealing with the younger generation, they steal money off kids for non given services & don't make it clear before you buy the policy that Carrot are actually a brooker. This longs out everything you need an insurance company to deal with such as breakdown, claims, etc. I would never suggest Carrot.

It took three days to insure my car. I already had car insurance on a car and needed it to be transferred onto a new car. For some reason, it took three days. I had to call endless amounts of times, being put on hold continually, and also being cut off. I was put to and from various staff, no one seemed to know what was going on. On the first day I tried to sort insurance I was stuck in the middle of no where with a car I was unable to drive, and at the end of the day had to be picked up. I was told someone would call back but they didn't. The whole experience was a disaster. My phone bill will be very expensive so I'm hoping a voucher may cover my time, phone bill, loss of work and stress. I even had to resort to Twitter to contact yourselves.

The worst insurance company I have ever come across. (ive worked with a fair few in the job i do) Only interested in making as much money out of you as possible. basically accuses your of allsorts (tampering with the blackbox) when in fact it was inactive because the car hadn't been moved in a while! Treatening to cancel as were coming to the end of the miles, needed t purchase more but the cost of this was ridiculous. Cancelling for speeding and the only evidence is a picture of a close up of seeding sign on a lamppost (which could be any sign, anywhere in the country). Encourage you to ring and resolve, when you eventually get through (after hours of trying) hit an instant brick wall. Gave up and cancelled the policy as It is an absolute shambles. (the blackbox doesn't even records all the journeys made so is clearly not as accurate as they state). The cancellation costs are a joke aswell. Save yourselves some money and go with a reputable high street insurance company who will not threaten to cancel your insurance every 5 minutes. (Coop offer a young drivers blackbox, they are cheaper than Carrot, don't cancel the insurance for ''speeding'' and you can drive unlimited miles, and are a hell of a lot easier to get hold off. Would give no stars if possible

Just like 90% of the other reviews, my issues are the same, after having my policy for just under 5 months they've cancelled my policy for 'a negative driving score', even though my score was negative even after doing more than 3 mile journeys at one time. From the perspective of a young driver (20 years old) this insurance is an absolute dream killer, and all they want is your money, hard enough as it is being able to get insured under the age of 25, premiums for next year will be unaffordable. 100% gonna read insurance reviews before committing to a policy that will just destroy your premiums for the next year. BY FAR THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

If I could leave zero rating I would. Absolutely shocking company. It's impossible to get a good driving score. I've even driven my sons car to try to improver the score. Nothing works it won't allow you to get 10 scores. Then if you do you can guarantee your next journey will be rated badly. Tracks journeys that haven't even been done ! Find a better company.

The most horrific insurance I have ever used! The Bluetooth device and app is the most shambolic thing I have ever come across. After sending multiple emails and having various phone calls with carrot insurance the app is still monitoring journeys I have never done. Monitoring me driving early hours of the morning and while I'm at work. Monitoring more miles for a journey that takes maybe a 10th of the mileage it is claiming. No one has sorted anything, no one has offered me anything. I guarantee this problem will be reoccurring for the next year now. Why have these devices not been checked and tested before using them with customers. Hopefully I will find another insurance to go with soon and give this one the elbow. After seeing other people's reviews, everyone is having the same issue. STAY AWAY from this pathetic excuse of a company.

LOOKS LIKE IVE BEEN CAUGHT UP IN CARROTS SCAM. insurance has been cancelled due to speeding so close to my renewal date, and reading the reviews people are having similar issues. Called up carrot and I recieved no help what so ever customer service was extremely poor. I remember the particular journey they calmed I was spending and I know for certain I was following the road limits. This is just absolutely ridiculous !! Stay away guys

Load of rubbish, nighmare customer service and impractical "box" this insurer provides which is a nuicanse to turn on everytime you drive. They cancel the policy if you fail to turn it on so overall I strongly recommend to avoid these folks.

What a load of rubbish, please tell me how many times is acceptable for me to be sending the same documents over and over again(SO FAR 12 TOMES IN 3 WEEKS). In all my driving years (23) I have never come across an insurance company so shambolic and incompetent at doing simple tasks
