Carrot is a not bad insurer for young drivers. Received my cash rewards as soon as my 1st quarter finished. Only down fall is not being able to drive after 11pm or it puts your score down a lot

Great up to date feedback and I think it's cool that I'm able to check my driving and see how I'm doing. Really happy I chose carrot insurance and the card is a bonus!

The app is easy to use and helps me drive safe. The only downside is that the points go down if I'm out after 11 but that's understandable. Customer service is great and very helpful, easily changed my mileage within the first few weeks. I did get one warning for going over the limit but the gentlemen was very professional and polite - wont be getting any more of them any time soon. The insurance is quite pricey for a small 1.2 Fiat Panda but it is the cheapest for my age and driving experience - 17 and none.

Carrot were fast and efficient. I got my car and was ready to be on the road and they helped make that possible fast! They are ever so slightly pricey but hey, I was a young driver at the time so not too fussed with that.

Overpriced, and terrible customer service. like many of their customers i am in my first year of driving and chose carrot because ultimately it was the cheapest. But as in life you get what you pay for and carrot is certainly not a company you want to be with. Everything they do to 'help' is when it is convenient for them. The breakdown service is an absolute joke.... waited till 2 am on a busy motorway when i broke down at 10pm... the was told that the service is to one location per breakdown. so i had to PAY for extra transport for my car to get to a garage when it opened... how was i supposed to get my car to a garage at 2am ??? do not go with carrot no mater how much driving experience you have !!!!!

This company is a joke. I was 17 when I passed my test having been offered carrot as the cheapest quote of £3,700 on a 1 litre Citroen. I took it. They fitted my black box whilst my car had tints and alloys, anyway accept loosing points for staying out after 11 being the only downfall as my second year renewal came up carrot again was cheapest. I took the policy paying 1,600 in one payment. Having to have a black box again they came to install it and refused due to my tints and alloys yet I had them from when I purchased my car. They threatened to cancel my policy so i removed the alloys and window tints. On the last day carrot allow the black box to be installed before cancelling the policy no insulation person turnt up. I called up numerous times to be told the system was down, I waited in all day and they did not turn up!!! I yet again contacted them for them to tell me at 4pm the engineer won't be making it and they will be booking me in again for Thursday. RIDICULOUS. The company is a joke. Pls save ur money and stress and go elsewhere. So unhappy with the service

I wouldn't even rate this company a star. I'm a new customer and only am because it was the cheapest one I could find but its so much hassle. Any other company you put your details and its sorted but not with carrot you have to send a picture of every detail about you and your car. You have to download the app (or else they cancel your policy) you choose a certain amount of miles a year and you can't do any more than that, you get charged if you do. Once you've sent the pictures they require they continue to send more emails for more photo evidence and if you don't once again they threaten to cancel your policy. It's ridiculous.

I don't even know if i could rate this company a 1/5, if it was an option I wouldn't give it a star at all, that is how disappointed I am. My first issue is that the staff members are rude and obnoxious and don't actually want to help if you have a problem. Secondly my premium has gone up 3x and I am now paying over three thousand pounds for my car insurance, and get this my score on the app is good and I also haven't had an accident since being with Carrot. This company is a rip off and I would tell anyone to stay well clear. I am cancelling my insurance with them I am that disappointed! Not helpful one bit and I can honestly say I will never go near them again. The Carrot card is also a load of rubbish my account said i would receive 70 pounds for good driving I received 50 pounds instead! Not Happy.

I was initially very nervous to have a telematics box because I'd heard all the horror stories from people. However, carrot was unlike the rest! I forget I even have the box. It does encourage me to constantly drive safely even if there's temptation to drive over the speed limit. Also everytime I've rang up with a query or problem the team are really helpful

Carrot is a great insurance company. Really like the cash rewards for safe driving; although i would prefer for the reward or amount to be taken off the insurance premiums, or monthly payments. Nevertheless, carrot insurance is great and the app is very useful and handy.

Carrot insurance was very user friendly and easy to set up. Although it is still expensive, for first drivers. Also the black box is very quick to put your score down but it takes days of good driving to get it back up.

Getting a reward for driving safe is good! Although alott of other insurance companies discount your insurance each quarter rather than giving you a cash reward which I prefer! And for anyone waiting on there carrot card they don't send it out Intill your first quarter payment is due!

The carrot insurance made me happy by putting the I-box into my car because I can see what im doing wrong and how to improve. And the fact the carrot insurance pays you to be a safe drive that is good I think every young driver shout insure there car with carrot

I like the i-box because it has rewards in each quarter but the only thing bothers me is the points on usage i still dont get them i usually just get 4,80 i dont know why
