If you've got more than 1 policy with Churchill you automatically get a discount and if you please ask them about it and you're better to phone them as it doesn't always give you your discount when doing it online and when you renew your policy always and if you can find it cheaper they do try and give it to you cheaper

I needed to add another named driver to my policy so that my car could be collected from an air port car park. All very easy and no extra charge!! Fantascic.

The policies seem adequate and Churchill staff seem to be approachable and reasonable. Of course you might expect that as a new customer. The proof of the pudding is in the eating and that means that when it comes to renewal time they don't try it on by all back door methods to put the price up hoping that it slips through unnoticed in what I believe is called 'Inertia selling' where a good number of people forget to check on comparison sites or are too lazy to do so or are distracted in some way. I always check but get a bit fed up of having to do so and then have to barter down the company that I'm with the same old story. If they don't respond in matching the best deals on the market don't worry go to someone else. The majority of house hold names seem to have similar approaches and customer service. I changed to Churchill last year from Hastings who pushed their luck a little too much. So Churchill behave properly or I'm afraid you will go the same way.

I have used Churchill for my car an home insurances for 4 years and the they have always been really helpful and polite when I've phoned. They have always tried to give me the best price for product. Thank you Churchill

Customer service was really bad using their chat feature. I was given the wrong information and they did not seem to understand what I was asking and it felt very rushed and automated. I was told I would have a refund via the person I spoke to on the chat and then I called as it had not been received and was then told no your not entitled to a refund... Also massive hike in price when looking to change address (I was paying monthly). Would not recommend.

The cancelled my policy during COVID despite me calling trying to pay them and sending me a letter with the incorrect opening times. Not only this when I spoke to the staff they were so rude and seemed like they were trying to justify themselves and were trying to win a argument and did not care about there customers. Sharks the lot of them.

I feel safe knowing Churchill are looking after my car insurance. I have been with them about 3 times in the past and have always been very helpful. If they keep prices sensible, I will them again in the future.

I contacted Churchill after receiving my car insurance renewal letter, the new annual cost had only been reduced by less than £40!! For a customer who has been with you for years, since buying her first car, without any accidents, convictions or anything that could be negative within the last few years. To offer less than £40 off the yearly premium is a slap to the face! I haven't used any breakdown or other services but they are charging more than the actual company itself, when asked why the response was appalling. I talked to customer service and have all the screenshots of how rude, uncaring and un-bothered they are, telling me to cancel, buy from a different company and that the services they offer cost more, include less and are better to buy directly from the relevant companies. There is no respect, loyalty or service provided to long term customers, the people I talked to, there first response was there's nothing we can do, we'll go ahead and cancel you insurance. Without even asking me, telling me they're busy and have other stuff to deal with due to the virus. Churchill has not provided any support during these difficult times except charging their customers extra for services that cost less, treating them with no respect and care. The lady I talked to showed her impatience, kept cutting me off trying to end the conversation, would not give me any explanations, told me she had other things to do and can't help me with anything, wouldn't help me Co tact the relevant people and made me feel absolutely awful. I have never met a company that shows a blatant 'I don't care' attitude. To think I've been paying these people for the last few years makes me sick. They're charging £600 more less services than any other company and have no customer service skills, I highly recommend you save your money and buy elsewhere, I will be posting all the screenshots in every car related group I find. Horrible people and company!!!
