Took out a very competitive and comprehensive Home Insurance Policy. Received All Documentation electronically on same day as full payment made. However before taking out Home Insurance Policy with Churchill - I telephoned them to ask can I receive All Home Insurance Policies Documentation through the Post. Never did after telephoning twice a week after. They blamed their only post sorting office twice for the delay due to covid-19.

Had a claim for damage to bed and bedroom which was dealt with very professionally. Then we had a claim for theft of cash while on holiday. Again this was dealt with promptly and efficiently.

Very good insurance company , do hope I can stay with them at my renewal , but this depends on how much it goes up , but i do hope so .

General linkage problems with two houses to insure and Churchills cookies how it remembers which account you are using fails. This then has knock on effects when using go-compare for example as it doesn't link correctly. Ended up insuring the same property twice.

A review of an insurance product is best given after a claim is made and auctioned. Fortunately that has not been necessary recently, but in the past I have found a much advertised company to be lacking when that time came. As always, buyer be aware! Meanwhile, my Churchill policy is backed up by Go Compare’s excess cover offer.

Really easy and quick response posted all documents and handbooks. They have a monthly news letter where can get some good advice.

Hubby rang to change his insurance as got a new car. They said his card had been declined I think they where putting the wrong numbers in. They said as I was on his insurance I could ring and pay on my card. After 30 mins on hold I finally got through I could hear the person on the phone but they said they couldn't hear me so cut me off. Hubby rang again and did the automated payment and his card was accepted. Unacceptable waiting 30 mins to be cut off

Went to cancel my car insurance. 8 months left on my policy, not buying a another car. They wanted £53.78 to cancel my policy, admin charge. Disgusting. Better to pay monthly in future and just cancel the monthly payment. Who knows what would happen if you need to claim!!! Disgusting service.

be careful with these people. In anticipation of my car insurance renewal, 30 days early, I requested a cancellation. Today (9 days after said "cancellation", I received a letter saying "insurance will automatically renew". I called to reiterate I do not want a renewal, and was reassured that it was on "manual" renewal, so it would not continue without my consent. Was also told that the letter I received must have been sent before I requested the cancellation. I hung up, and not 10 minutes later receive an email saying "we have renewed your policy, your documents are on the way". So I am now AGAIN on hold, for another 20 minutes (and counting) to , AGAIN request that they do not take money from my account for a renewal I don't want or need. Will take legal action if this fails.

Every good company have had no problem at all reliable and communication not a problem. Would definitely recommend them value for money excellent.
