DO NOT USE!!!! AVOID WITH YOUR LIFE!!!!! I used FluxDirect to buy myself some PROVISIONAL car insurance on a 1.2 fiat punto. I advised the staff when booking this that I would rarely be driving the car unless it was a weekend, they didn't explain any offers or additions that could of been purchased instead of buying the full everyday cover. I then hit some unforseen circumstances and made the staff aware that I couldn't be able to pay the installments anymore and would like to cancel my policy - they cancelled it and charged me £400 over three months. EVERY SINGLE MONTH once I have cancelled it the money has NOT been taken from the account provided and I have had to ring them and chase them for hours on end to take the money whilst they have sat back and done nothing but send me threatening letters with the courts and baliffs. Once I fibnally got through to them on each day every month, they apologised for the letters and had NO PROBLEM withdrawing the money from the account (The money was sat there for months). Because of all this lack of effort by the Billing department and Customer Services, I have had multiple threatening letters and also now have a seriously damaged credit score. Please bare in mind, the money for the insurance was available, they had just not attempted to take it even after a recorded conversation of them admitting they would. THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!!!

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!! My 17 year old Daughter took out a learner policy with them and when she passed her test had to pay £155 for the privilege of cancelling. Horrendous, aggressive customer service representatives. His name was Stuart apparently (he refused to tell me his name for about 15 minutes). I made a complaint and had random figures that meany nothing to me. It is complete extortion and daylight robbery!!! They took the direct debit payment then sent my 17 year old daughter a "lovely" email stating she owed £85 and if it wasn't paid within 10 days they would send a debt collector! She is under age for credit and the credit agreement is in my name and how disgraceful to treat a young girl this way. If they had informed of how to pay the extra £85 I would have done so. The email I had told me to continue with the DD as agreed and no mention that I had to pay within 10 days. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SIGN UP TO!!! "Stuart" kindly informed me it's my own fault as I took the online policy and should understand what i'm signing up to. I have cancelled with other insurance companies in the past and just paid the usual £30 cancellation fee. DISGRACEFUL!!!

Avoid this company if you are learning to drive. They are misleading and will rip you off. In very small print you discover after you pass your test that you will be charged a % of your premium if you are paying monthly, to cancel and take out a new policy - which you HAVE to do the minute you pass. I was warned by a friend and failed to listen. Use at your peril they are a terrible company

Take out insurance. After policy taken out and payments made I'm asked for more information and to print things off, sign them and send them back. Had I known this much hassle would be tto get insurance I would have gone elsewhere. Email them asking for help. No reply, no phone call. Send everything off and policy is back on. Emailed saying I need to send more info. Policy cancelled without prior speaking to me. Phone up and explain my situation. Am told I'd be called back. Didn't get called back. Avoid these idiots at all cost. Disgraceful customer service and attitude towards problem solving. Underhand and sly business practices. Should be closed down.

Customer service is poor unable to move payments to the end of the month as most people get paid monthly . No effort to help my situation what so ever and when I explained I shall use another insurance company next time she didn't really care . Tut tut . I will be putting bad reviews on several websites until they get the message .

I was lied to and misled. Initially i was told i can change and make ammendments to protect my no claims. As soon as the cooling off period was over i was told we cant make any ammendments for protecting my no claims. Had i known this and if it was made clear to me i would have cancelled my policy. Feel Absolutetly cheated. Also they keep sending requests for for proof which i have sent numerous time. Bunch of imbeciles.

A Disgrace. Once you have signed and paid for the policy you are bombarded for requests for lots of further information - driving licence, letter from employer with job title, and lots of other information they suggest that the underwriters request. If the underwriters need the information they would not have offered the policy in the first place. Slow to email back then ANAL about having information to cancel such as registration number ( already on the subject title of the email ) , time & date of cancellation ( this is on the email you are sending !!!) Just hopeless - don;t know why i bothered trying to save £10. What a nightmare

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE A BUNCH OF CROOKS.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! INSURED MY 'YANK TANK' ON LINE FOR THE QUOTED PREMIUM. THEN GUESS WHAT I GOT THE STANDARD DREADED 'CALL BACK' FROM FLUX. 'CUSTOMER SERVICE'S' UNFRIENDLY - UNHELPFUL STAFF THEN WAS ADVISED I HAD TO PAY AN EXTRA ( MONEY for NOTHING ) £45 PREMIUM BECAUSE OF SOME DUBIOUS ANOMALIES WITH INFORMATION NOT SUBMITTED. AS POLICY WAS NOT DUE TO GO LIVE FOR 10 DAYS I SAID I WOULD CANCEL AND TAKE BUSINESS TO A KEEN REPUTABLE HONEST COMPETITOR. I WAS INFORMED THAT I WOULD HAVE A £30 EXIT CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD REFUND FOR A POLICY THAT HADN'T EVEN BEEN ISSUED YET !...............LOOKING AT OTHER CUSTOMS WHO HAVE BEEN FLEECED BY THESE CROOKS IT IS STANDARD FORM FOR THEM TO USE THIS TACTIC TO MAKE FOR DOING 'DIDDLY SQUAT'. HAD THE SAME YANK MOTOR FOR 25 YEARS AND IT HAD BEEN INSURED ( WELL I THOUGHT IT WAS !!!???? ) WITH THIS SHOWER of S*** ON AT LEAST 10 POLICIES AND THEY COULD FIND ANY RECORD OF IT EVEN FROM THE LAST POLICY IN 2016 !!!!!!!! REPORTED THESE JOKERS & CON MERCHANTS TO OMBUDSMEN AND CC LENDER.

Worst Insurance company to deal with. Customer service is a joke, phoned for a quote on change of address, the additional premium added over £600 to the insurance the phone line died and in my following phone call the person notified me that it all has gone through and this is without my wish leaving me without any other option than to pay. Money grabbing firm.

Having accepted Payment in full for my policy I was then constantly pestered for "additional information". I had to log in then upload a photo of my dirving licence , answer additional questions and provide a DVLA check code. Having done all of this I continued to get emails which I assumed were incorrect as the policy was paid in full and I had provided everything. THe policy was then cancelled and I discovered it was because the "picture was too blurry". I then only received a £138 refund from a £540 policy I only had for one month as a result of THEM cancelling.

SCAM: Absolute customer experience nightmare & scam Wish I had read these reviews first before taking out an insurance policy from these scammers. Similar experience to other reviews left on here: Took out an insurance policy for monthly payment, later I had an email stating I needed to prove my employment and provisional details within the week with a signed letter from my manager or policy has been cancelled. I was on the phone for over 2 hours numerous times to enquire whether they received my evidence. When they finally found my evidence, they wernt happy with just my line manager signing, and asked me to send it again, with in the existing time limit giving me only a day, if I couldn't make the deadline my policy would have been automatically cancelled and a fee of over £300 would have to be paid. I recently had to sell my car so therefore had to cancel my policy, they started pulling various fees out of the air that i owed them, admin fees, loan charges, cancellation fees etc, the total of which is over £500. To repeat the other reviews: AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

Appalling telephone customer service. Trying to cancel my son's learner driver insurance when he passed his test I was transferred to 4 different departments. No-one could explain why they couldn't transfer me to the correct department first time. I assume it is all a scam to keep you on the phone as long as possible so they make money from the call.

Disgusted that they trap learner drivers into taking this insurance - my daughter took the insurance in August 2018 and today passed her test and cancelled the policy - only to be told she has a £141.70 cancellation fee to pay within 10 days!! dreadful customer service and absolute con artists - do not be conned by their cheap learners insurance! - It is not cheap when you cancel the policy!

Exactly 5 months ago today my car was in an accident in which the 3rd part immediately accepted uncontested liability. And it has taken until now to get it booked into a garage this weekend for repairs. The service - and that of the million or so companies Flux farms work out to - Accident Exchange, Trinity lane, Coplus, SandGResposne - has been farcical. I've had to do most of the legwork myself. Total waste of time ever getting insurance through Adrian Flux.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!! Took out an insurance policy for monthly payment. 7 days later got an email stating the policy has been cancelled (there were NO further instructions with the email, apart for me to seek insurance elsewhere). Was charged £178 at the date of signing up, the balance not refunded. I was then charged a further £225 on month two. When I called and asked about this issue I was told the £178 was to setup my account, then the £225 was because of early cancellation and I have to pay a further £1000??!? It was Flux Direct who cancelled my insurance policy (as their lender who fronts the year's policy cost said my credit wasn't good enough). AVOID AVOID AVOID these scammers!!! Reported to FOS
