“did quotation with Confused.com with final price of some £450 for van insurance. I ve been satisfied so bought full year policy. After 2 days they called me back to confirm details, nothing changed and i have been told to pay double that price or cancel policy and pay leaving fee. Never again deal with them.”

“Please don't use this insurance broker go to money supermarket or compare the market. I cancelled down my 78 year old dads car insurance yesterday that I rang directly to obtain the day before, they were charging him £700! He has a completly clean licence and small car, I was able to get 57 lenders and not one of them was above £250 the policy I took out for him was £199, I even applied direct through there website with all his details and it was only £314 I questioned as to why the premium is double if you call... They couldn't answer me, he was charged £50 to cancel it. Please please don't use them”

“No clue about customer care Clearly the training with this company is attack formation. No clue why they are calling me so. All to be confronted by a lady with no customer service or listening skills whatsoever. When I find out why they are calling I most certainly not will not care. And certainly will never use them”

“During the current covid 19 situation , be wiser have been terrible . No communication between departments , no reading of notes on file before ringing , offering deals , then saying they can’t do that because you’ve paid the deposit online . Be glad when both policies are finished so I don’t have to deal with you again .”

“After having car insurance the Be Wiser for 3 years I asked for a renewal quote which was too expensive so I cancelled the policy AFTER the end of the monthly payment. They are now hounding me for the money for this year even though I have produced evidence that I no longer have that vehicle and I have paid everything I owed up!! They have even put a Debt recovery company on to me!!”

“Absolute wankers my van was stolen and instead of any sympathy these idiots kept trying to take payments,when I spoke to a few of these people they actually thought they were rocky Balboa on the phone 'telephone tough guys' ,,but it was actually the most stupid button pushing women who got me so frustrated,always paid a extortionate price on my van of 240 a month this was over a year next year 180 as I always paid my insurance on time you would think these people would respect and also offer to help you when your vehicle was stolen instead of trying to fleece you for money and try belittling you over the phone.Absoulte filth I'd love to get my hands on the cocky fuckers which handle there phone lines.”

“Wish I could leave a 0 star! Took out a policy in August then in December a problem with our bank meant a missed payment. we received nothing from them just a email of cancellation of the 30th December stating the policy been cancelled on the 5th December?? and we needed to pay £100 for the fees plus other fees of £40. I called them asked if we could pay the full outstanding balance for the year which was about £260 was told no and if we don’t pay the £140 it will be sent to debt collections and they would be more fees on that I asked about complaints was told I needed to search the site for them and she could not tell me anything about making one! shows sometimes the best price is not the one to go with I will never use again”

“Got quote online for £160.You then have to validate policy.After wasting hours of my time trying to validate they increased my policy by 50%.I therefore decided to cancel my policy.Despite assurances that there would be no admin fee they then charged me £20.As others have stated I would give a no star rating if this was possible.DO NOT USE.”

“Absolutely riduculus !! Same issue as many otheres . Got quote onlie paid full price and got phone call from so called "customer service" to say i have to pay almost £400 more !!! This guy claimed that i made incorect statments so they have to clerify and make adjustemts joke!!!! TOTAL SCAMMERS AVOID THEM LIKE A PLAGUE !! Would give 0 stars if i could ..”

“Got a quote through go compare paid up and thought that was it only to get a phone call next day to say i had to pay £150 more. NEVER experienced anything like this before. TOTAL scam/rip off. So many companies out there--why use this one?”

“Had quotes off go Compare for £400, had a call from insure wiser who then said I should read small print and comparison sites do not give accurate quotes. When I said I'd never come across this in 20 years I was told he worked in insurance and knew what he was talking about. Continued to be rude and said that he doubted what I was sayin was true. Also refused to give me his full name.”

“Absolutely the worst insurance company I have ever had to deal with .I cancelled my insurance today as I found the same cover for 1/4 of the price and was charged 191.00 just to cancel . and to top it off several hours later I received an email telling me that I have an outstanding debt of 191.00. Obviously the 191.00 that I'd just paid !!! and threatening me with a debt recovery agent. worst company ever !!! just stay away from them !!! think they just stick another £100 on your bill just for talking on the phone !!!”

“Worst insurance ever. Had an accident (non fault) had legal claims assistance but when it came to it, they said they do not cover legal costs and only point you in the direction of their solicitors. This was not made clear and now have a legal bill. Their people are not always helpful and there are so many different parts to this insurance and they do not communicate with them. Do not use, you have to pay legal expenses if you have an accident, fault or not! Stay clear!”
