“Avoid like the plague ...they do not answer the phone i have been transferred around for more than 1hour 45min i am currently still listening to music, they use a management company to field calls , i have NEVER had such a bad experiance with any Insurance company, goodness know how you would get by if you needed to claim and get everything sorted, i only have a question about my tools cover Take my advise and look elsewhere ....its not worth the few quid you save using this company.”

“Cancelled the insurance and they took the £400 they got back from the company for “administrative fees”. Absolute daylight robbery. Avoid at all cost.”

“Over the course of a month leading up to my renewal time, I received 3 different quotes from BeWiser, each more than the previous! £330, £420 and £435. The best quote from a price comparison site was £220, hence my wish to contact BeWiser to get a competitive quote. There hadn't been any alteration in the cover from my side. BeWiser gave no explanation for this discrepancy and were wholly unapologetic. As a result, I looked elsewhere, and found a much better insurer, Hastings Direct. Adieu BeWiser!”

“all helpful and polite when you are looking for insurance, but stops there, 30 minutes waiting on phone, gave up in the end, and no response to 2 emails....... got the money already their job is done....”

“Husband taken out car insurence 34days later car sold as unrepairable. Insurence been on same day.NOW 5YEARS LATER RECEIVED SOLICITOR LETTER DEMANDING 340POUND DEPT. WHAT A JOKE AS WAS PAID VIA DD.AND CANCELD .Avoid avoid avoid unprofessional”

“The company is a scam! They retrieved my banking details and renewed my third party work insurance in August wihtout my consent. When I noticed they took money off me without my consent on theth of January, First day of national lockdown, they refused to cancel the policy. I explained I had been on universal credit since August, was looking for work, locked down at home with my child. They refused to cancel or freeze the policy. I had paid until the 26th of Janurary and they hadn't informed close brothers who runs their account. They cancelled the policy. Wanted £46 then now claim I owe £70 odd whilst I paid £16 a month for a self employed cleaner policy. I couldnt work safely from home since March 2020. They sit at home refusing to help those who are at risk of catching the virus at work, are stuck at home with a child. They didn't deserve the trust and business I gave them for a year, they renewed without my consent and harrassed me for money ever since the contract ended August 2020”

“Be Wiser and find another company. Very bad experience. All they are after is money. they are just a broker not an insurence provider. I insured my car but after few months I could not afford to carry on repairs so I got rid of the car. All payments were uptodate until that moment and I am on Furlough I had other priorities. I contacted them explaining my situation the only thing I did not do is cry and beg. All I got was NOOOOO CAN NOT CANCEL!!!!!!!!!!! but I can swap it to another car. Since I had another car I gave the reg but no one got back to me with a price so after few days I got another insurence company to insure that car. After few days and threating emails mentioning that they were not able to get in touch with me ( Which was a lie), I decided to contact them and ask for an update I got the same answer. CAN NOT CANCEL. Pay the out standing or else send to a debt collector. so in the end I ended up paying the outstanding. Very Bad experience I had with this company. I really wish if i could go back in time I will tell my self not to sign up with them. Please Find another company for your insurence purposes. AVOID”

“AWFUL company.. would not recommend. Especially for young drivers. Scammers if you ask me. Charging me extra for something that wasn’t even my fault. My choice was pay it or we will cancel your insurance. Very upset and very stressful experience. Wouldn’t wish it on anyone.”

“Had someone call for an insurance quote which I didn’t ask them to do. Then they told me there was error on my insurance. Which I got corrected with my previous insurance company called them back. I was told the person dealing with it would call me bk as he was on lunch. 5 days later I am still waiting for the call back I’ve read other reviews regarding the advisor being on lunch and not getting call backs. Or silly mistakes with insurance”

“Rubbish company ever. I have 4 years no claim bonuses from a car and they accepted my no claim bonuses for a van insurance at the begining. (my qoute was £3800+) After 5 mothns they called me and "sorry we do not accept your no claim bonuses because they came from a car, if you want to keep this insurance pay +2k more or you can cancel for cancellation fee which is £900+. After 5 months, they forced me to pay an extra £2+ or £900 cancellation fees. I'm preparing a court for this company.”

“Taken the payment upfront then proceeded for ten months to take another 1.5 times the amount again! Then pretended they were giving me a free year when in fact they have taken money! Do not use! They say it’s there fault but not refunding. Disgraceful company and be wiser if you do not use them”

“As with other comments on here a complete sham of a company. I have been charged £100 plus admin fees for cancelling. They then hounded me for even more money when I refused to pay as I had not been sent their terms and conditions. Avoid”

“Was offered a £10,000 quote on a £500 car online couple minutes later I was then called up And a women transferred me to there sales team where I waited on hold for 10 minutes then was hung up on so I called the number back and then waited on hold again and was hung up on. customer service - -10/10 Utter Joke for giving a £10000 quote for a £500 car try rob you out of money”
