Impossible online to transfer old bike insurance to new bike, or get a refund. So gave up and went to another insurance company and took the hit. No way to email them they’ve locked the email doors. John

I am already insured with Nash for 2 bikes for £127.16, i want to add a NC750 sd bike to the policy. They want £569.11 extra *"!* UNBELIABLE

Tried to take out insurance with Carole Nash online to be told it wasn't possible and I needed to ring the office. This wasn't possible as it was the Sunday of the bank holiday weekend, so I took out insurance elsewhere. Even though I haven't required the insurance they have taken payment and are making it very difficult for me to get a refund. I strongly advise you to use a different insurer.

Have been with Carole Nash for a number of years and have always found them to have reasonable prices ,but get ripped off if you change bike part way through the insurance ,and this seems to be getting worse every time ,brought a new bike last year and tried to put it on to the multi bike policy ,won`ted stupid amount over £400 to add to the policy ,in the end given a policy for £240 with no no claims and all usual extras ??? ,This year sold one bike ,brought another tried to ,put the new purchased bike on to the policy with the no claims (bike on policy was £10500 Kawasaki z900rs ,other bike was Aprilia tuono worth £2000) was not allowed had to combine all three in to one new policy at cost of £494 after 5 weeks asked to remove Aprillia tuono ,no refund ,cash in re insure two bikes an extra £13 on top of the refund ,Biggest rippoff every very nice when you want new policy at end of year but don`t change bike or you will pay heavily for it .Will never used Carole Nash again .Would of put no stars but unable to .

Opted out of insurance over a week before the date of starting. Charged £25 for doing so. Don't touch with a barge pole. Be aware.

i insured classic bikes with these rogues the policy came through and i noticed that they had put that there were security devices fitted to the bikes, i told them i had no security devices fitted, also i disclosed to them i had a claim within the last 5 years , they didnt put that on my documents either .. i asked for them to amend my documents to include the accident and no security devices they said they cant so i initiated a complaints process.. its obvious this company is either incompetent or just a bunch of thieving rogues i will never insure with these liars again steer clear of theses rogues and save a lot of hassle operative said its all ok because the details are on their system but i have no access to the details , he said i can request to have recordings of conversations but when i asked for them it was brushed aside so i initiated a complaints process.. awful to deal with never ever again would i bother with this awful company as far as im concerned a bunch of rogues

l am 74 yrs old,;l have insured bikes with Carol Nash many times.....never had a claim...l had two bikes with them..sold one but renewal price for single bike was way to high, hence l went with another insurer £55 less. l needed proof of no claims.......Carol Nash said they would send 1 yrs proof..........l explained l sent them proof of 4 yrs no claims..+ the 1 = 5 yrs...chap said oh yea, l will mail it to you...one week and one e mail later. its still not sorted out...Very Poor Service...Still waiting.

Even before cover had started there were problems. Wrong cover, so I asked to change. Told not possible to cancel and start again but I could amend. This was of course subject to admin fees, told them I did not want auto renewal as I would not be a customer next year. This was all two weeks before cover even started! Complained and was told someone would look into it but guess what? Nothing, no reply. A respected name from the past but don't be fooled. Avoid.

nadvertently put diesel & not petrol in the tank. Telephoned Carol NASH. To my consternation I was belatedly advised insurance had expired. But I had not received notification thereof, by letter, telephone call, text, nor email. Nor had my sister whom manages my financial affairs & insures my vehicle on my behalf. Fair comment I may be should have advised them of change of address, BUT they could have & should have contacted by some other means. Had they forwarded a reminder by post, some INVERARSEHOLE should have returned to sender. Due to Highlands & Islands Clowncils (whom ike N.efarious Y.orkshire Y.orkshire C.ON{(ned)demned}servatives C.riminals, NYCC, adequately maintained the roads. This, for which D.epartment O.f T.ransport F.reedom o.f I.nformation advised 80% of Road tax, fuel duty & V.alue A.dded T.ax is mis-appropriated by the treasury. (No doubt wasted by the grossly negligent, derelict in their duty of responsibility coupled with cavalier disregard, shouldn't have skidded on loose chippings, aggregate derived from ubiquitous enumerable potholes & crashed, resulting in my involuntary relocation. Should you value your machine, life & limb do not visit the Highlands & Islands. Notably keep off the North Coast 500 (NC500) as it & adjacent roads aren't fit for horse & cart, with 44 ton logging & fish trucks that shouldn't be there on. Ditto NYCC North Yorkshire Moors & Pennines too. As it was, Fuel Fixer called. BUT from Aberdeen, a 2 - 3 hr return journey no doubt adding a hundred or more to the bill? As it was I received a bill greater than £200 & wasted £25 of diesel. Mercifully, the engine wasn't damaged. But had my insurance not inadvertently lapsed. I should not due to Carol NASHES gross dereliction of duty of care & responsibility, coupled with the multiple injuries, I should not have incured due to Highland Clowncil & Stagecoach, I should not have had to relocate. Notably if, Nissan had like all auto,/motor manufacturers should have fitted fuel nozzle made of stainless steel such that diesel should not have been put into a petrol tank & vice versa. Something automotive manufacturers & LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas, manufactures & notably distributors should due to lack of forethought on their part coupled with cavalier disregard akin to CAROL NASH. As it was. More than happy to renew your policy. Take your cash & bill you for that which should never have arisen. Typical of INSURERS. ALL TAKE & NO GIVE. (And 3 years on. Still no re-dress from Highland Clowncil nor 2 years on. None from Stagecoach whom hit me with the back end of their bus, dismounting my bicycle on the pavement). Called to change the insurance on my Motorbike as getting a new one. Half way through the current insurance. Told they could not insure the Bike on the existing cover and so would need a new policy. Big expensive quote of course! Looked elsewhere and got it much cheaper so went to cancel existing cover expecting a small refund for the unused time! Nope they wanted £18 to cancel the cover and no refund. Absolute thieves! Avoid this firm. It will catch up with them in due course! Just tell your mates.

They call themselves a Motorcycle specialist but they cannot quote on custom situations. Spoke to them for over 1.5 hours. Throughout the conversation they were all confident and saying that of course they could quote and insure me. In the end, they refereed it to their senior advisors and said none of their insurers would quote with pillion cover. This, even though I have 30 years riding with zero accidents. When asked if they actually speak to the underwriters they said yes at first then later admitted that they don't as they don't need to because they know all the parameters of the underwriters. This is NOT a specialist then.

One Star rating for this company is one star to many. I have been using Carol Nash insurance for 13 years and always had a good customer service. I renewed my insurance with them this year 2020 the policy came through for a car I had never owned; my motorbike had the wrong model. I am currently thinking of changing my bike, I seen the bike I want, so I phoned to ENQUIRE if there would be any change to price of insurance. First I was put through to a chap, I was on the phone 24 minute, he took all details, had put me on hold while he looked at any additional cost, after 28 mins into the phone call he told me I was with the wrong department as I have six wheel cover, He put me through to the six wheel cover department where I was met with a representative named Simon, he was confrontational argumentative and dam right awkward. Although I was upset that I had been waiting 28 mins already he was asking the same question’s again, when I tried to explain why I was upset, he threatened to hang the phone up on me, I had not insulted him, I was not rude to him, I did not shout or raise my voice, although I was cross, I tried to explain I was not cross at him but with the system. He showed no compassion, or interest. He then kept me on the phone for another 30 mins; 8 minutes of this was on hold with no explanation, COMPLETELY RUDE. If you want your day spoiling and want to talk to confrontational staff, then go with Carol Nash. What was once a really good company to be with and who I recommended too many of my biker friends Do they know teach rudeness as part of the induction training of new staff?? Once my policy has ended I will never entertain this company again. Have they really got so big they no longer have to be polite to customer???

Bad accident Nov 2019 lost a leg didn't hear a word from nash. Called to enquire about my claim 14/6/2 020 to be told I have to contact the insurance co. What is a broker for ? I won't be insuring thru Nash again after insuring thru them for over 35 yrs.

I have had policies with Carole Nash… I have had policies with Carole Nash for decades, but on finally selling my last motorcycle, I called them to do the right thing and advise them that I was cancelling the policy. BIG MISTAKE They charged me MORE to cancel it than I was owed! Now I know insurance companies have a lot of shady stuff, exclusion clauses, additional charges etc. but this felt like grabbing a "final pound of flesh" as I went out the door. I can't do much about it, other than warn others to 'think very carefully before cancelling a policy... it could... amazingly, cost you more than they owe you!"

Took policy out 1 month ago £52 .tryed to change bike they wanted £37 to change.when I said cancel,they wanted£20 on top.i complained asked for his name he said cory king.very bad company.do not use.once was a good company.

NHS KEY WORKER CANT GET TO WORK DUE TO INCOMPETENT STAFF AND POLICY BEEING CANCELLED I can not get to work today, I am a key worker and work for The NHS This reason below stated what has happened I have insurance with Carole Nash underwritten by Zenith Since the policy was taken Carole Nash have been asking me to supply Information for copies of driving licence, v5 document etc I have emailed this over to them 3 times - which I can prove I have done as i still have the emails . Yesterday the 29th May I received a letter dated the 19th May ( 10 days after it had been posted) from Carole Nash saying they are cancelling my insurance within 7 days due to not receiving documents they have asked for ! So my policy was cancelled 3 days before the letter arrived as the letter took 10 days from posting I can not get to work today Due to Carole Nash’s clerical error of not forwarding the emails over to zenith insurance. Obviously people working from home and not doing their job properly and not checking emails due to the excuse of covid !! And because of this I’ve had my insurance cancelled I can’t take out another insurance policy because I have to declare I have had insurance called, and if I do this my policy will treble in price. I shouldn’t have to declare my insurance has been cancelled because this isn’t my fault I’m totally stuck - I can’t afford to pay my insurance at treble the price !! Please could you investigate this ASAP I can give you exact dates and fines the emails we sent to Carole Nash I’ve also just spoken to Carole Nash and they have advised me that’s also Zenith will not insure my husband due to his job occupation as a brand consultant in retailing !! NOT ONCE - has anyone informed me of this and it doesn’t not say it on the letter I received yesterday !! This is very serious !! Like I said before I am a key working at a hospital and now because I live on a non bus route the nearest bus-stop is 5 miles away, I CAN NOT GO TO WORK TODAY OR TOMORROW OR UNTIL THIS GETS SORTED !! Which means I will BE LOSING £500 +++ in wages due to incompetence of your admin staff !! Please can you either get my policy re-Instated with my husband off the policy or at least remove the information for the database saying I’ve had insurance cancelled
