“I had a motorcycle policy for 2 months it cost me £248.77.. i cancelled it because I purchased another bike .they wouldn't do a multi bike as my first bike was a classic.tgey wanted £750 for my new bike so for the 2 bikes was .£998.77 I got £94 refund cost me £154 for 2 months insurance I git insured with bike sure for £440 for the 2 bikes . Dont use carol nash absolute robbers”

“Carol Nash are the worst company that I have ever dealt with, they are incredibly difficult to contact, it can often take up to an hour to reach their South African call centre, once through you might then be disconnected or on hold for a very long time, then end up speaking to someone with a very strong regional accent so communication is problematic, and that person might also not be as well trained as you would expect. Presently I am stranded with no bike insurance and unable to reach a capable person to resolve the matter, this company should be avoided.”

“I spent 40mins on the phone to your customer support handler about adding my grandson to the policy for 6 days while he returned from Dubi to attend his great grannies funeral. I was asked soooooo many questions but after answering two or three was put on hold while she was on her computer I heard the music loop several times, then at the end was declined the cover. It is the most infuriating call I have EVER been on.”

“AVOID!!!!! Try to add business insurance to my policy and wanted to charge me £60 for the privilege, as well as additional insurance! Very poor customer service. When elsewhere with more cover and much cheaper.”

“Avoid like the plague don't give your iney their side kick company close brothers and the selves gave been harrassing .e with letters and robot emails even after cheque payment ignored they are disgusting had to take close brothers sidekick company for non payment if claim they harrass and dont answer you if I could call the police I would very scary company be warned I have now taken court action with close brothers”

“The most awful motor insurance company to deal with could hardly get proper answers from cancelled my direct. Debit to them to close insurance and get them off my back I am now taking legal action to get money back most of the time they are operated by robots nightmare company will avoid like the plague”

“Wish we’d seen these reviews first, can’t understand how they got a high rating on trusted reviews. As others have mentioned, got a quote, agreed everything then they came back and started finding reasons to increase the policy price. Decided to cancel as the policy had yet to come into force, wanted £40 to cancel then asking for another £32 asked her to put it in writing with an explanation of charges, she then said if we don’t pay they will instruct debt collectors. Said I don’t like threats and to put it in writing. I can see in their t&c it says £40 to cancel, that’s all I’m prepared to pay. Do not touch this company, wish I’d read the warnings”
