In addition to all the comments below - please read, I have requested cancellation of a new policy with Carole Nash which has not even started yet. Reason for this - Calls back and forth to overseas (South Africa I was told) due to incorrect details received back by email because of misunderstandings on their part. Also 4 different quotes for monthly payments sent, each one asking me to electronically sign them! When cancelling, they tried to tell me I wouldn't get all my deposit paid back. I said I wanted it back. It was then confirmed that I would receive it back within 3-10 days (we'll see). Unable at all to speak to anyone in the UK - even their Complaints line with a Manchester number reverts to South Africa as well. I wait to see if I have any further issues after requesting cancellation reading the comments below...

You were closed on a weekend when I sold my vehicle ,so that put me 1 days over the cancelled period ,and I HAD TO PAY CANCELLATION CHARGE .NEVER WILL I USE THEM AGAIN !!!!!!

AVOID! Nightmare company! Speaking to someone you can understand is very stressful!! I am in debt with them because of their error !! Will not use again or recommend

Some very interesting reviews!!!...Same for me. A horrific experience whereby I was charged disproportionate amounts for a database error that CAROLE NASH made on their website. Hideous customer service. Unreasonable. Should be referred to the regulating body. Insure your vehicle somewhere else. I will never use this company again. Also I will continue to provide negative feedback until my money is returned.

I've been insured for a few years with Carole Nash for a 50cc moped that I only use for work, I rang up for renewal after they said they couldn't automatically renew because my card expired, now they can't offer me renewal at all because of number of bikes, (I have one) and make of bike, I rang back to speak to customer services they said Via an agent that they'll insure me third party only but with no explanation, absolutely ridiculous, goodbye Carole Nash,

Had to sell my car and they charged me nearly a years insurance to cancel. In 50 years of driving and dealing with insurance this is the worst experience I have had. Avoid this company like the plaque, they are criminals.

I have an email with a current 6 wheel policy document but they are saying there is no current insurance with them. I spent ages on the phone yesterday to be told there was nothing on file. Today I am being moved around departments and am currently on hold - AGAIN

Dreadful and useless website. All I wanted to do was prove my no claims bonus via email. I spent a long time going back and forward. I tried to create an account but none of the reference numbers were recognised. In the end I had to Google a link. I have now sent the proof. I wonder if that will be OK as I have had instant return from one email (which did NOT "no reply" on it. I used Carole Nash as I thought I could trust them in the worst scenario of a claim as I thought they were a specialist - they aren't. I might as well have used one of the other companies who were marginally cheaper. Oh well, you live and learn. I now see all the dreadful reviews - so it's not just me. Usually, I check reviews before buying something but ... as I said .....

Change my policy yesterday from 2 bikes 2 to 1 was on the phone for a hour & was put through to 3 different people 1st 1 I couldn't really understand the second one didn't sound to be in a fit state for work the 3rd one tried to charge me £67 cancellation fee when I had just insured another bike absolutely perthetic i came of the phone very stressed out with someone that should have been easy to do

Bad experience all round only had insurance with them for a matter of weeks before I needed to replace my car. The advisor was aggressive and rude and charged me a whopping 65 to leave…

£320 to change car details after an emergency (head gasket blew) where I had no choice but to get a new car. The reason they said was the risk of the new car as it was older….but that was reflected in the increase in the premium 🙈 (which wasn’t a problem) absolutely shocking. You may think you are getting a good deal but the second you have an emergency (not even a claim) it will bite you on the bum. With £320 for a change of vehicle I’m shocked you have any customers at all! Shocking management and system. Literally wouldn’t touch this company with a barge pole

I have used Carole Nash for several years for a multibike and car policy. Often found them difficult to deal with but in the lsat year or so the cusyomer service is thriugh the floor. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Mechanical pre-programmed call operators being the lest of it. My policy was on auto renewal but CN were unable to take payment (may have been a bank problem) they wrote me a LETTER which arrived teh day after the policy ended. This meant I was driving uninsured, I had felt uneasy and phoned to check as I was away form home. They would not let me pay, and said policy had lapsed. Fortunately I was still showing insured on the national database askMID. The only good news is that I have gone elsewhere and saved myself a lot of money but if their system means that they will not call or text or even email if a payment does not go through, then the results of that do not bear thinking about.

What a load of rubbish, same as others if I could give 0 I would. We cancelled our car insurance but they still took money from our account. Every time you call them it's a different person, and they say we will call you back later They don't!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

3 weeks and 2.45 on the phone and still not a call back or problem sorted , trying to phone the company's complaints department for the second day and after 20 minutes thay still don't pick up . Totally useless!!!

Avoid this company at all costs. Asked for so much paperwork (that I have never been asked for in 30 years of driving). Then they cancelled my insurance with a text. Tried to get insured by a different company ,but my premiums went through the roof because I had a policy cancelled even though it was not my fault.

If I could give 0 I would absolutely horrible company, have been relentlessly chasing me for 75 pound which I don't owe, I cancelled my insurance in July when I sold my car to "we buy any car" but they renewed the insurance, now because I refused to pay, put it in the hands of cars collections, who also chase you, now I've been told they need information from dvla which is going to cost me money to get to prove I sold the car, please avoid avoid avoid horrible pain in the bum company, don't use them

Cancellation fees if you want to terminate are ridiculous. Never using them again.
