“Kwikfit automatically renewed my insurance at a cost of £869 and i was inaware of ths until I saw my direct debit.
They say there is a box to tick to prevent this when taking the insurance but youd never notice it in small print.
I cancelled and found my insurance for £299 and they refuse to reimburse and then offered it me cheaper but still over £600.
Do not use these thieves !!!”
“I have had several pet insurance claims over the past year - I have three dogs insured with Kwikfit. Each time I have had to follow up each claim several times as they claim not to have received the forms from my vet. It takes weeks to settle anything. I have also complained about the website because it is almost impossible to find a contact number to speak with anyone. Extremely frustrating and hopeless customer service.”

“After someone hitting our car kwik fit was quick to get it repaired as we was comprehensive.Then the insurance came to and end and we had to renew it ,so we did they told us that we had a claim going though so it would cost us a lot more money than last year .so we paid up as we was told that when it was settled and the other part admitted liability we would be reimbursed.we didn't get any money back but charge more or the policy will lapses .Dont touch this company with a barge poll people. “After taking out car insurance I was told to picture message 'proof of address ' never had to do this with a company before!!
Sent documents in sent picture messages in to be told it still wasn't enough and they cancelled my policy.

“Appalling!!!!! No accidents or points, no changes in my policy at all but renewal had more than double. Which I am certain I was not informed of renewal to promt my memory to cancel at that price! Going through complaints, I have paid in 4 month what I paid for my annual insurance last year. Disgusted and will be taking the company further on the Ombudsman if I do not get money back or hugely discount for the rest of the year! DO NOT USE THEM!!”
“Kwikfit's renewal quote was twice the amount that I found with another insurer online. Unbeknownst to me KwikFit renewed my insurance policy and then sent a menacing letter demanding payment for a policy I had not requested them to renew. When I phoned up I was treated rudely and told that although they were now cancelling the policy, I still owed them for the cover (that I never requested) prior to my phone call. To avoid this I must now write to them with proof of my other insurance, which is a bit of a hassle. I will avoid this company in future.”
“This company assists with making false insurance claims and scams- I received a phone call from them about an accident I was supposedly involved in in May 2013 - this was totally incorrect and I even assisted in full with the investigation - even allowing then to view my car but despite this they have lodged this non accident on my insurance so naturally I am advising their regulatory body accordingly - AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST”
“We received a renewal letter for my wife's car insurance which doubled in price from 500 pounds to 1001 pounds no accidents in the last five year no offences in the last five years as this is an automatic mattic renewal we went onto a site comparison and got the insurance for 480pounds with Churchill when we rang kwik fit to cancel the policy they told us this was not their best deal but still could not match Churchill offer just wonderd if any one else has been caught out C Taylor”

I cancelled my home ins with kwikfit after 7 months and got a threatening letter stating I have an outstanding balance of £103.67 and if I did not pay it

This is the 2nd time I have used this company the 1st was car ins I took out for 6 month cover and when it finished I was quoted about the same as I paid for the 6 month for 12 month.
The 3rd time is when I took my car in for an MOT it failed on DISCS AND PADS on the front I was quoted over £300 by them and got then done at another garage for £128. + vat.
So wont be going to KWIK RIP OFF AGAIN.

“Absolutely appaling service. I had an accident. Called 5 different 'kwik-fit' numbers. All put me through to the same service where I spent several minutes each time going through a range of options 'to help improve their service'. Eventually, every call would just hang up - so my car is just stuck by the roadside. Could have simply told me they were closed when I first rang instead of going through all that crap. System written by idiots.”

FIRST THEY COULD NOT FIND MY POLICY,THEN THEY WERE DEMANDING CREDIT CARD DETAILS BEFORE THEY WOULD SEND AN EMERGANCY BOURD UP TEAM.FRIDAY NIGHT SO TOLD I HAD TO RING UP SATURDAY TO MAKE CLAIM ,RAN SATURDAY TO RAISE CLAIM AND WAS TOLD SOMEONE WOULD BE INTOUCH MONDAY.HAD TO RING BACK MONDAY AND WAS TOD IT WAS AN OUT OF HOURS CLAIM SO THEY COULD NOT DEAL WITH IT AS IT WAS A DIFFERENT TEAM ,NO ONE SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING .TOOK WEEKS JUST TO COME AND MEASURE THE WINDOW AND THEN THAT APPOITMENT WAS MESSED UP (IT WAS CHANGED TO A MORNING APPT ,WHEN AN AFTERNOON ONE WAS MADE BY THEM ,NO ONE KNEW WHY!!!)THE STRESS CAUSED TO ME AND MY FAMILY WAS NOT WORTH THE CHEAPER PREMIUM.THE WINDOW PAIN WOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITHIN 10 DAYS HAD I NOT GO THROUGH KWICK FIT.”
