Omg!!! I tried to get through to home insurance, no option so I went to car insurance to transfer me, 17 mins waiting 1st time, 19 mins 2nd time, 23 mins 3rd time, still no luck, what a complete waste of time I tell you.... don't flippin bother😣

Had fully comp insurance with these jokers for almost 6 months, changed my car for a cheaper model, smaller engine and wanted to charge me double my old premium but when I queried it, they suddenly wanted to lower it by £100....still £200 quid more than a comparable quote. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CONMEN!

Had a minor bump when I clipped someone's car parking, Lady contacted me after I left my number on her windscreen to say no damage but she would get it checked out , she then contacts me 2 months later saying there was £160 worth of damage to her car , I contacted kwikfit as I was wary that this could be damaged by someone else as it had been 2 months , kwikfit agreed and said they would do a full investigation before agreeing to settle with her , I just a renewal which has gone from £52 per month to £110 , I queried why and was told that they paid out £1600 to the lady I had clipped months before !! I had photos witnesses to show minimal.damage and an email from third party confirming damage was only £144 , I've asked kwikfit to explain why they paid out so much causing my premiums to rocket , but have had no response , never will I deal with this company again

My premium went up by 200% and its been 4weeks no one answers the phone at the call centre. But some how the house hold Insurance side seems to work. Have been on the phone for upto 30min at times. Very disappointed. Please stay away from these con.

kwik fit auto renewed my insurance....and took out the payment 1 week early. When I contacted them they blamed computer glitch.Asked to talk to the manager and was told that he would ring me in 2 hours...3.5 hours later I rang back to be told he is taking a high level of calls(I wonder why?)My new insurance company is half of kwik fit quote. I informed my bank which in turn cancelled the d/d their end and is retrieving my money for me.....Also if anyone goes on kwik fits web site for a quote it says they are not accepting new customers(good so they can't rip off any new customers...It's just the customers that want to leave them that have to be aware.

After already doing a go compare quote a few weeks before my renewal date just to see what sort of price i was expecting to receive and getting quotes within the £55 a month range; I then received my renewal letter with the quote of £422 a month!! This is with 2 years no claims and considering i was only paying £155 a month this year. Absolutely extortionate no need to say insurance with Kwik Fit has been cancelled and will never be looking at using there services again and will most definitely be making sure none of my family or friends go to this con artist of a company

Poor customer service. Allegedly either didn't received emails or couldn't open attachments with requested paperwork. As the result, they cancelled policy just outside the cooling off period, which resulted in fine. Never ever had a problem like that with any insurance! Time and money wasted.

I've been with Kwik Fit car insurance for more than 10 years, this year I'm changing my car and was refused insurance, no reason given. I have gone to RAC insurance and believe I got a good deal. I will never deal with Kwik Fit again and that includes their tyre and exhaust centres.

Home insurance refused after dealing with them for 6 years no claims made, no reason, no one knows why ??? What a joke this company is anyway, I was paying £248 new quote with another company is £80. Give them the widest berth ever !!!!

Kwik fit auto renewed my policy at the end of 1st year. They took premium for whole year without my knowledge 5 days before it was even due for renewal. To make matters worse they took the yearly payment twice!! 10 days after payment taken im still trying to get my money refunded. Will not be using yhem again.

Trying to sort out a claim with this group was a nightmare. So many different departments to deal with, kept on hold for hours at a time only for the phone to go dead. When you do get to speak with someone they can't locate your details on their system so back on hold again! I have spent the best part of 3 days trying to get to speak with the right department. Avoid at all costs extremely poor service.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Been with them for 1 year and have 7 years no claims bonus. My renewal price has gone up to £1,062 PA. I have found cheaper quotes with Aviva for £342 WITH EXTRA's!! complete theives, and judging by other terrible reviews I'm surprised they still in business. Kwik Fit you should be ashamed

Fromthe beginning we were beset by letters regarding our details which their system had lost. The first time was funny the second and third exhasuting. When we had the temerity to make a claim the nature of enquiry got a lot darker and we got threatening letters about our claims history, however, when I spoke to them nobody could tell me what about our history they were interested in clarifying. Eventually they confirmed that they needed an emailed version (because our original, second, thrd and fourth descriptions of it were not appropriate. The day we did this we recieved another letter about our history, we assumed this was automated and part of the problem we had just solved. We were wrong we have had our policy cancelled from under us. Avoid this firm of scam artists.

I was with the Green Insurance for some years with no problems, however, when KwikFit took over something went wrong. My policy was due for renewal in October but I did not receive any renewell documents. The last documentation was from the Green Insurance when my Wife changed her car in March 2016. It was February before I realised that I was paying £62 a month which was 3 times the cost of the previous year having thought I must have been paying for my 21 year old Sons insurance. I rang to find out why I was paying £62 and was told that my policy renewal was sent out iin September and it was my responsibility to check when my policy was due for renewal. My payments were immediately reduced to £33 but to cancel the policy would almost as be as much as the remaining 6 months. I then tried to check my policy documents and found that I didn't receive them either. My documents are normally sent via email and I was told by KwikFit that they must have been sent to my Spam folder, however, when my documents were resent to me they miraculously appeared in my inbox. Surely, if anything at all was was sent it would have jogged my memory cells and I would have checked. Heaven forbid but thiis does not give me confidence in the event that I should have an accident . I will now count the days when I can change this policy or hope for a huge discount on my next years policy.

My husband cancelled his car insurance in January 2017, as it doubled in price, he rang Kwik fit to tell them he wouldnt be renewing his car policy, had a letter to say it's cancelled. On the 6th Feb 17, they have taken money from our bank account, he has rang them twice to get the money refunded, and still nothing, I guess next step financial ombudsman.

I had a very small claim not my fault. The way they deal with it is totally wrong. There is no follow up , garage was waiting for approval of the estimate ages. I didn't get curtesy car even that it's included in my policy . There is none to talk to to resolve or speed up things. It's the worst insurance I have had in the last 20 years of driving and having insurance .

My insurance renewal in January 2017 tripled , so cancelled the renewal and signed up with someone else. Yet in February i was charged for the new policy !!!, they have created a Direct debit themselves and collected the money . I rang them and been told it was a COMPUTER GENERATED mistake and they will refund me in 5 days . Its 2 weeks and no money refund. Will keep ringing them and emailing as well as complain to the financial ombudsmen if not resolved promptly.

Omg what a joke kwik fit are I renewed my car insurance last march they hadn't got to do anything at all my bank details hadn't changed it was just a renewal then in may I got a letter saying I was in arrears hadn't paid for 2 months I looked on the letter and the bank acct number wasn't even mine they was trying to take it out of someone else's??? I was assured it was all sorted and I paid the 2 monthly payments I'd 'apparently missed' and sorted it out I was then assured the dd was all sorted and all Was fine I got a letter today saying I Owed 0.00 and I thought oh that's the free payment I get back from them that they explained to me when I took it out I rang just to make sure and omg they have not took any payments from my bank since June (when I paid to sort it out) I've had no letters from them Saying I've missed a payment for 7 months but there telling me I've still being insured??? Kwik fit have now said they accept 50% of the blame and they're even charging me a cancellation fee as I don't want to b with them anymore I wonder why?? How can they do that no letters but they demand the full payment I've missed from me plus cancellation and don't forget the letter said 0.00?? I will be taking this to the financial people to look into I have all the letters They've sent to me even the one saying 3rd Feb I owe 0.00 perhaps Alan brown would like to contact me to discuss as this complaint will b going on every social media i know what a joke I've wasted my time ringing them 3 times and it's all at my cost!! 7 months and they never noticed payment wasn't made whose in charge of ur accounts Alan brown operations of nothing?? No one I can see??

If i could give this company no stars i would rude staff and automatically renewed when told not to ! Another company undercut by 40 pounds a month which is a lot over a year ! Stating i must pay 50 cancellation fee plus 250.84 immediatley or i must send them proof i am insured elsewhere, none of their business who i renewed with wont be getting a penny from me worst company ive ever dealt with! Also got reduced price mot when renewed this was big mistake told needed over 1000 pounds work done! Little did they know my brothers a mechanic it cost me 64 in parts plus 50 mot elsewhere next time they try robbing folk they should wear masks ! Avoid like the plauge !!!

"Free MOT" not redeemable ("nothing to do with us any more", say Kwik Fit garages"), renewal price over £1000 more expensive. We've used Kwik Fit Insurance for two years but will never use them again. Avoid.
