I find that the Lloyds Business most managers are unethical and unhelpful.I started my business in October 2011 so I had 12 0r 18 months free banking after that they started to charge me the service charges every month average of £40 a month. Time to time they were sending me a letter saying to change my tariff to reduce my cost. I am not a very smart person and did not know how to do it either? So I had asked the business manager to change the tariff to the suitable one in more than 3 occasions. I even told them every time that I am too thick and don't understand also do not know how to change my tariff but they did not help. A few months ago they have charged me almost double the amount of my normal monthly charges. So, I rang and spoke to the business manager and he told me that was an error so he wiped the whole charges for that month and put me on a new tariff which is now costing me about £15 a month average which is a £25 a month average saving which is very good for a small business.I had recently raised a complaint about my previous high charges had taken by the bank and they have declined to pay the over charges. I am going to take this matter to the Financial Ombudsman also hope and pray that FCA should look into the high over charges taking by the multinationals Bank just like the PPI. So please if your tariff is not right then get some help and that will save you lot of your hard earn cash.

Absolutely horrendous company to deal with. I've been dealing with the same complaint since January and nothing is ever done. They don't ring you back when they say they will so you have to start the whole procedure again with another person when you re-contact them; they cut you off after you have spent an absolute age trying to get through to the right department and are the most incompetent useless company our business has ever dealt with.

Buildings and Contents insurance RIP OFF!! I've been a loyal customer, 13 years protected no claims and they want £151 per month for the insurance.......needless to say I'm off to a quality outfit and only paying £39 per month. I should have noticed sooner...my fault....but they've sat back and been prepared to effectively take an unnecessary £1,200 per year from me for many years hoping I wouldn't notice. Even the customer services rep was astounded and told me to go somewhere else.....so I am....and I'll take my mortgage, credit cards, loans, etc with me.

Having closed Upminster and Elm Park branches, I went to Hornchurch to find a note on the door saying closed today. The next day there was another note on the door saying closed today too. I have a wad of cheques to pay in. No doubt they will want to charge me interest when the account goes overdrawn. I have tried to e-mail them but the site goes round in circles with FAQ's and won't let me complain. I have been with the bank for 48 years, but now I have had enough and will be changing my bank.

Did a insurance quote on my present car £250.94 and then my new car I planned on buying £334.72 . it was £83.78 difference there abouts extra to change i didn't mind paying . Then phoned to change car before new policy starts they raised it by another £400 on top even though they onlined quoted £334.72. They didn't want to take the extra payment but I could cancel and start again which I thought was pointless . People do not get caught by these lot. And as a customer for over 30 years i'm again not impressed by them

Took out car insurance. No documents arrived and had to phone to get policy number to access their online documents. Very poor communication. Was told they would email me the information to access the portal but still waiting. Should have read the reviews before paying the money!

My elderly and disabled mum's home was severely damaged by a fire started by a negligent workman working at a neighbouring property. Lloyds loss assessor was charming and effusively reassuring at first but utterly appalling to deal with. Despite the fact that Lloyds are reclaiming the settlement from next door's insurers, he quibbled and fought on every bit of expense. Next door's settlement (mirror image semi) was £260k. Mum's home, which also needed back-to-brick repair & refurb throughout, he fought to keep down to well under 100k. She ended up having to shell out thousands from her own pocket. He wouldn't approve anything that he felt wasn't 100% down to the extensive smoke and water damage to the property, added several months' delay to works being completed by insisting on needless third party tests (that confirmed our own workmens' finding), curtailed the time they were prepared to pay for alternative accommodation, and in short showed no shred of practical sympathy, understanding or flexibility to meet the needs of a very vulnerable, elderly & disabled client. I wouldn't call him a heartless bastard. Given enough time I'm sure I could come up with a complimentary description - just can't think of one offhand. Won't touch Lloyds again.

Had to make a claim for damage to my car while it was parked outside my house. Initial telephone conversation seemed ok but then nothing happened. When I called back a few days later to find out about getting my car repaired I was passed to lots of different people; broker, underwriter, repairer etc. I was on the phone for an hour and had to keep providing the same details - no communication between any of them. Two days later, i phoned again as I had heard nothing and spent another hour going over the same stuff. My husband took over a few days later and was eventually told that the car was considered a write off. Think this is some sort of scam as the damage is just to the rear panel. Will look for another insurer next time.

They cancelled my insurance without a single worning. When the police stopped me saiyng its not showing your insured i was like pheeww, thats ok its probably just a system failure. I woke up not really fused for being stopped as i knew i was insured called up only for them to tell me that the insurance had been cancelled two weeks ago and said that i had to pay £ 156.11 and i paid them and then i asked them them to reinstate my insurance they said that they cant do that as its been cancelled for more than 24 hrs. They gave me a new quote at £ 5.000 plus a year!!!!!!!! And whats worse is that other companys wont even insure me!!!!!

Had a roof ridge tile blow off by the wind rang Lloyds for help this is what they have to say 1. Can't fix your roof because reason being the wind speed at the time was ONLY 40 mph. It should be 55 mph to qualify for repair. Are u kidding me? Have they been out measuring wind gust that week? 40 mph might not be strong to blow off an entire roof but surely 1 small ridge tile isn't as heavy as a car? 2. Secondly, can't fix your roof because I haven't cleaned my gutters and done maintenance on the roof. Seriously the house is only 14 yrs old class a recent if not newly build the roof looks like new why mess with something not broken. The gutters are free of any debri. 3. Thirdly, won't cover for water damage as not part of accidental home contents damage? Who are these people? It's wasn't done INTENSIONALLY so it could only be accidental which part do they do not understand. I made a fool of myself why I choose to go with this insurance company I paid my hard earned cash for nothing.

Home insurance claim for weather damage. So many conditions like a 55mph storm or water fealling over 15mm in a set time frame. Those things don't happen enough, but yeah in Britain it rains a lot without meeting that threshold. So my policy refuses to pay out for water damage due to some arbitrary conditions. I now have a 1 year old daughter we have to drive overnight 360 miles so she can stay warm while our house decides to leak. And I have to figure out where we get the money to pay for repairs. Thanks for nothing LLoyds and you can shove the policy where Noah did when the flood stopped.

Almost unbelievable poor customer service with regard to claiming through home insurance, and a staggeringly bad policy/poor instructions when trying to provide them with evidence with what has been stolen. Have had to send them the same thing three times now and still getting nowhere with it. Would not recommend under any circumstances.

In January, I reported damage to my car and have since left two messages on your website, but no action from you. The only contact seems to be when my monthly payment was late. I am disgusted with your customer relations. In view of your lack of contact, I decided to cancel my policy and go for a much cheaper one - and you have the nerve to ask for £101 cancéllation fee. It seems I am expected to go with the policy, but same does not apply to you. High premiums and no service. Disgusting! Would not recommend Lloyds to anyone else.. By the way; I am not paying you any cancéllation fee.
