I have been with Lloyds for over 16 years. I was happy with Lloyds until I complained about their bank charges and others in 2020 which I was claiming back and now this mobile insurance claim!!! They use the algorithm method to calculate anything we complain about and it always works in their favour and not ours, so one does not receive a refund or payout for insurance. I have contents insurance which covers my mobile too [rather say should]. I bought my mobile in 2018 making it 3 years old and have recently cracked the screen and seems to work clearer on loudspeaker than normal call. I put in a claim to repair. A lady called me to ask questions. When did I notice this problem? - beg August. When was the screen broken? - 25 Aug. How was it broken - I noticed the crack on the side so not sure if I banged it although I must have for this to happen. No one uses my phone except me. She said, "okay so it's most probably old and may have parts that are worn so then it would not be covered because that happened before the cracked screen". [I mean when we take out these policies the life span of a gadget is not mentioned]. I was advised by her to take it to Samsung to get a report [that I must pay for]. I said, "I should pay Samsung for the report, which Lloyds may not pay for, and most probably cost me more than the phone is worth now". She then said sorry I am declining your claim. I asked why "she said because you don't know how exactly it was broken?" They ask you questions in a manipulative way to try and catch you out. Lloyds we are not all crooks you know!!! So when anyone leaves a positive review for Lloyds, please ensure you have successfully made a claim first. I am not happy with them at all.

Been with Lloyds for 25 years. Really unhelpful recently. They claim to be by your side but I can speak form experience that this is not true.

I have been with Lloyds Bank, for 47 years, and it's only the last 13yrs, that Lloyds have ripped me off, some years ago, I collected £44K,in compensation, and now , I have found another £130k fraud done to me, all I get from them now , WELL , YOU CAN ALWAYS CHANGE BANKS. They cancelled my endowment policy morgage, changed me, over to a repayment mortgage, so I now ow them £130k, at the end of the morgage. FRAUD !!!

Closing all my accounts asap! No help whatsoever to extend my overdraft. Half a day wasted on 'phone then told by disinterested bank they will not assist even though funds coming soon far exceed requested temporary facility.

Lloyds bank is rubbish I received an email regarding changing my bank account to a better account so I decided to give it a go only to find out that I would be receiving a new debit card and my old card would be cancelled in 4 weeks..I was advised that I could cancel within 30 days so I called up to do this within 2 hours of changing the account over only to be told that I would still receive the new debit card for the new account that I was cancelling and also receive another new debit card for the old account that I was going back to..I said that I didn't want any new debit cards for either account only to be told that I couldn't cancel and would still need to receive these cards as they had already been ordered..I have been a customer of lloyds for over 5 years and this is how I am treated!!!!

Lloyds Bank customer service goes from bad to worse and already the national newspapers are beginning to take notice of the lack of customer care and the inability of customers being able to make contact with Lloyds Banking telephone services because of the appalling delays. I have spent hours trying to resolve a complaint both in Bexhill and at my branch in Ashford, Kent., but when trying to access their new Symantec email system - which is completely useless (God knows how your more aged customers will be able to manage it) - I get nowhere. Indeed, I waited twenty minutes this afternoon listening to an automated voice message telling me that someone would be with me shortly only to be cut off after twenty minutes. It's infuriating. What on God's name has gone wrong at Lloyds Bank? I have been a customer for forty-five years and I am seriously tempted to close my accounts. Do the directors care? Do they hell, just so long as they get their fat bonuses.

I’m currently on the phone having had an Amazon payment - which I’ve made circa 50 times before but this one gets flagged for fraud, no problem just give them a call and they’ll sort it out…….. Been on the phone FOR 2 HOURS and not even spoken to the fraud team yet! I’ve spent over 6 hours on the phone over the last month. Lloyds, you’re outdated, unable to keep up with the times and quite frankly appalling, after 10 years with you I’m off to Monzo who I’ve used for 5 years and are genuinely incredible! Seeeeeeee Yaaaaaaaa Lloyds!

Impossible to close the bank. I live in Canada so I don't need the bank anymore. I closed my bank account but my online banking is still working and I recieve bank statements letters even when there is no transaction!! I called not one time but 5 times and they don't know what to do...they are all sweet and apologies but they ask me to wait and tell me that maybe its gonna take a month..a month later they telle that maybe it will be deleted this year...so tired!! I also tried they chat by logging in because I'm trying everything now...after explaining the situation the person reply that it's best of I give them a call ..

1 they closed my business account without telling me. ( that's another story when I was calling customer service about it when I told the lady that I am an existing customer she started to scream "don't you swear at me" Well lady.. If existing customer is a swear word for you, you really need to change your job) 2 They issued a check to my business name without asking what should they do with the balance left. 3 I needed the money urgently. Couldn't cash it in online as the amount is too big. Had to take time off from work because the branch is only open Monday to Friday till 3.30pm. 4. Still couldn't cash it in because it was issued to my business name. And they couldn't sort it in the branch I had to call them again. Took another 2 calls 1.5 hrs of my life. Will be taking my personal account away as well..

Refund - spoke to a ‘Charlie’ for 50mins and he tried to raise a dispute. He then told me it’s not going through. I made a payment to a small business and did not receive the goods. I initially raised the claim on the 20th May and didn’t hear anything back. I called today and they said they couldn’t do anything to help. I told them I’m switching bank and the person from security said ‘ok’ without even looking at my files or asking about the situation. 1hour wasted on the phone. Ridiculous excuse for a bank, a bank were supposed to trust with our money. AVOID!!!!

appalling service - crazy wait times - a few helpful staff for which I am grateful but my interactions with this bank since I moved overseas has been painstakingly horrible and seriously effected my mental health.

They send you an email to say they have made the changes you requested, when you phone them to ask what were the changes you asked them to make, changes which in fact we didn't ask to be made, thats why we were trying to find out! the divvys tell you they can't tell you because of the data protection act, What a load of dopes, Then I call them about not sending me a letter they had promised10 weeks ago, a letter detailing what had happened after they were duped and allowed someone to set up internet banking and make a £6000 transfer from an account, WHICH HAD AN INSTRUCTION ON IT STATING NO INTERNET BANKING, I have been on the phone today for 2 hours trying to find out when the internet banking had been set up so I could take the matter up with the police and GUESS WHAT they couldn't tell me because of the data protection act, Lloyds you are God's gift to scammers, Would have given -10 stars had I been able to.

Very inconsistent and unreliable app, so many technical errors occur that every time you log in you expect it to error out, it feels like the technical errors are simply part of the app due to the amount of technical errors. Terrible App, shocking for a high street bank
